I hope alot of the teamless ProPlayers follow him to OW teams and make a living of it.
Personally I cant stand or see Overwatch, or worse, listen to it. Maybe my SCVs got rekt to hard in the past.

Which is what hinders everything other than starcraft in blizzard esports. Oh i guess Heroes they kinda did it right but.....WoW it took until about now until we have a proper observer mode, Overwatch doesn't have it and Hearthstone we are still watching player perspective!!! What is that all about lol.

Its not going to get a fanbase like Counterstrike - as in my opinion its a much more casual game and less exciting to watch due to less depth. I think its going to fail as an Esport, just like heroes of the storm did - right now its hyped just like starcraft 2 or Diablo 3 because of the Blizzard brand. If these had been released by a no name studio they would have been forgotten long ago.

Its level of success is bewildering to me because honestly it doesn't seem that special.

You really can't? >30% market share in Korea and a huge playerbase on both consoles and PC are not a good enough reason? Any game can be an eSports - you just need enough players. Take any succesful game, inject prize money and voila, you got yourself an eSports. On topic - these guys have to make a living. If Myungsik thinks Overwatch is the way to go for him, all the best to him. To the people calling him out on this move: Íf StarCraft II can't sustain a healthy environment for pros in Korea, pros shouldn't suffer just to "keep it alive". It's not their duty.
