QP seemed to be very lackluster with everyone doing their own thing and not really caring about what's going on, so I did some competitive (placement matches). First game got recked terribly. Second game won somehow Third game we won very decisively, so all of our team liked it so much that we all grouped up to queue together (yep, a 6stack) waited 20 mins to get matched, and we actually wrecked the enemies, was very surprised considering all the stuff I've read and saw in vids that 6stacks are just insane to even attempt. 2nd time tried to queue to wait for 90 mins and then just gave up, because couldn't get matched with anyone. so we split into 2-3 people groups and kept doing the placements. The teammates in my group were roughly 2250-2600 pts in skill. Long story short, this is my ranking now, and I don't know how this happened. + Show Spoiler + I mean, my allies were platinum, but in the last placement match we were matched up against 2 plats and 4 diamonds while our entire team was platinum, and I was unranked, and we almost won (ended up being a very clutch & close game (4:3) on route 66). I'm just shocked that I got placed here LOL, I am now the highest ranked person in my entire friendlist. Ending placement score was 7:3; where 1 game was lost because we legit got put into a diamond game, with 2 of us being unranked. The teammates just raged and couldn't understand how we got even put in that game so they just suicided the entire game without even trying

There's really no audience for my no-production-value videos but I just made a mesh of my last 6 months progressing as a Tracer player. The clips are not placed chronologically, because if they were there wouldn't be a "hook". It ramps up a little bit, starting with a weak clip and failures. It's interesting though, it's all flashy plays to some degree, but all the stuff I did before level 300 was fairly rudimentary, while some of the clips where I'm above level 400 show me managing my resources much better from experience. I'm by no means a pro player but in making this video (because my buddy said watching my tracer play was enjoyable) I do see the progress in my play. Clips even as recent as September are much weaker than what I can do now. It's late now, I work tomorrow but there's a sense of euphoria in it. I've always felt like practice didn't help me improve much, I've always felt like I quickly rose to my peak and plateaued there forever, and I felt like that because I never looked back to see my progress. Putting this video together showed me that I had not yet plateaued in September, maybe I can actually gitgud. I'm waking up in 4-5 hours but this is exciting.

So a young prince wanted to learn martial arts, so he traveled to a secluded Shaolin temple and asked the monks to teach him how to defend himself. They consented, but said he will not be allowed to return home for a year and he must obey everything they say. He agreed. On his first day of training, he was given a giant tub of water, and told to slap the water out of the tub until there was no more water, and than refill it and repeat the process. He did this for weeks, and started to get frustrated. He didn't understand why he was slapping water out of a tub. But he continued with his training. After months of slapping water, he finally got upset and demanded the monks teach him something worthwhile. They reminded him he must obey everything and told him to continue slapping water out of the tub. So the prince continued to slap the water. After a year of slapping water, the prince felt like he learned nothing. He returned home and all his friends and family were eager to see what he learned. They celebrated his return with a party, and everyone asked him to demonstrate the moves he learned. He kept delaying it, because he was too humiliated to tell them he learned nothing. Eventually he got so frustrated with the requests he slammed his hand on the stone table in anger. His hand struck the table so hard he split stone in two. Everyone was so amazed at his strength and applauded him. They asked him how he learned to be so strong.

*One of the rounds was Symmetra, which I think is more a matter of who loses by taking a wrong step first rather than who wins. But that's another discussion.

I think the Sombra used EMP every push on temple. (They had a Zen and Zarya lul). On Lighthouse the enemy Genji derped. Chased me on Zarya to a hacked big pack. I knew he was close to ult so damaging me didn't matter. So I went 100 Energy and our Sombra got a full EMP of it + I staggered the Genji that for some reason didn't give up. Poor Genji though he was a really good player, but you noticed the lack of experience against Sombra. He always ran to packs that our Sombra controlled by instinct. So I had the easiest time Chasing him down. The Zen never switched either. Despite having no real place to go on Illios to avoid EMP. Gotta enjoy it till its nerfed because of the Sombra first push, thats almost impossible to hold. At the End Sombra got 35% of damage taken card. She really is the coolest Healer in game atm.
