don't even bother with dattebayo, settle for Naruto being a dumbass. With Higurashi I assume you are talking about Rika, she speaks in a way that's...um...fitting for a little girl, no real translation either. I never figured out what that maid in Shakugan is trying to say with that, but far as I can tell it is just a weird way of formalizing her speech that has gone beyond that realm. | ||

Naruto's "dattebayo" is most likely a meaningless phrase, as most already replied, but the other two, I don't know. I think de arimasu, said by the maid in Shakugan no Shana is a proper phrase, much similar to our own 습니다 (sub ni da), etc. The middle phrase, no idea since I never watched/read Higurashi. | ||
