If he'd delayed the fourth a bit and invested less on cannons and dt's, he should have been able to defend that push. I don't think it was the map that made him lose. On the game vs hero he lost his reavers without using them well, he also lacked high templars and didnt do good job on harrassing. I'm not saying he had good maps for his match ups, but he definetly could have performed better. Yea you're right, he did make some mistakes. When a map is favored towards one race I tend to focus on that being the reason they lost rather than any mistakes the player made during the game.

Its obviously imbalanced in favor of zerg. Camelot also looks like a great map for terran against either race, so Im hoping theyll introduce a protoss favored map for later rounds, but I doubt it lol. We should lobby for Desperado to make a return.

I called Bisu and Jaehoon pretty confidently, but just as I start to recoup my losses Group D hits me. It was a toss-up for me between Rain/herO/sSak and therefore much harder to call, but based on his performance on stream lately I went with Rain. I was not expecting sSak to go beast mode. Really good play by him today. Happy that herO made it through, but I'm also disappointed that it happened off of Rain not playing well on Outsider. One of these days a Protoss player besides Bisu will do Sair/Reaver correctly and promptly break a good Zerg player on that map, but it was not this day.

Idk maybe they're afraid of all-ins or something but they put themselves in losing position from the start every time It was a really bizarre build, imo. I guess the difficulty of that map is that Zerg can do mutas, drops, or lurkers, so Protoss has a hard time finding the right tech path to deal with it. I personally like the suggestion by Tasteless to go one-base reaver and at the very least force the Zerg player into making a ton of defense early on while the jumpstarting your tech tree.
