as a zerg player when i do ravager cheese the biggest problem for me is when terran places bunkers/tanks correctly. you want them to be far enough behind the ramp that ravagers can't bile them down before running up the ramp. a lot depends on the map and how your main is shaped. so it's mostly being very patient, microing cyclone + SCVs while teching to tank/lib and positioning your units well. if you have any marines alive try to push back overlords as high ground vision is very important. if you hold the ramp and zerg camps your natural go drop ASAP because they'll have to drone very heavily to attempt a transition (keeping a scouting SCV alive to scout drones at zerg natural is also good)
What do you do if zerg goes for ovie drops while you harass? Im coming back to LOTV after a long time and it doesn't seem to be the case that terran can safely apply pressure on zerg in LOTV anymore
How much will a FE from Protoss delay their proxy oracle? I am trying to figure out how much I can delay my Engenering bay if they Fast Expand compared to a normal fast proxy oracle opening.

stop walling in against zerg.
build 1st depot at main ramp. build barracks inside your main.
scout with SCV. once you confirm proxy hatch/ravager, cancel your command center and build the 2nd depot inside your main. build a bunker 1 hex away from the main ramp (not a tight wall-in), then go for a cyclone/banshee all-in. be careful of him switching into speedlings after the initial few ravagers...
if zerg is doing anything else (normal speedling build), continue to build depots at main ramp.

It will delay it alot. Just 17 scout. if there are 2 gasses in the main before there is an expo or a cyber before expo and they are missing pylons (They should have about 2-3) send that scv back to scout the long route. When the reaper pops out it checks the other route as soon as you can. If it is proxy robo go for vikings(1-2 only) tanks and marine bunker (Im not too good vs proxy robo tbh) If its a proxy gate and robo just go 2rax bunker tank if its stargate make 2 widows for each mineral line a viking and/or a raven and go for a 3rax bio +1 stimcombat shield timing. However if protoss ever cheeses you like this you don't need to put pressure on right away and can get away with delaying the ebay for as long as until 4:45-5:30 HOWEVER if its DT's throw down that Ebay as fast as possible and get 3-4 turrets and/or a raven. Honestly though to defend against most/all cheeses in any matchup the first step is to worker scout at 17 or 18.
Is there any kind of cheese that works against Protoss if you have low APM?
My TvP winrate is now down to 32% and I think I have tried every style in the book without success. The only time I ever win is if I managed to wipe out 20+ workers with wm drops.
I want some idiotic no-skill coin flip strat that will give me a 50% winrate against Diamond players. I have had a bad winrate against Protoss since 2011 but it is just getting worse and worse.

Proxy cyclone works really well for me at diamond 1. Send scv right at the start cross map depot gas rax 17gas 19 orbital factory depot reactor after 1st marine You can go reactored marines, 1 cyclone at a time and a starport going into tanks after 2 cyclones or you can go reactored cyclones and 1 marine at a time
Make sure to wall your ramp and build an ebay if hes going dt or stargate

Awesome! I just took out a Protoss using this with my 80 APM to his 200. Now it is pay back time for all the Protoss bullshit!

this BO should be 16rax 16gas 17gas (rax first), you are not making a reaper or immediate reactor so you only need 100 gas when your rax finishes (if you go gas first you will have 130-140)
you just make constant marine/cyclone and with starport you make 1 medi (to elevator if he pylons his natural ramp and its hard to break) and then lib usually (or whatever you need)

I skip the marines entirly and just use the barrack to build the reactor for the factory. Then pump out double cyclones and attack as soon as I have 4. I also send 3-4 workers from my main that will meet up the cyclones before the attack since repairing the cyclones makes a huge difference.
I think I have won about 65% of my TvP since I started doing this since Protoss players at my level (Diamond) are really bad at scouting.
Problem is that winning this way is not that rewarding. Winning against Protoss in a macro game using mech is insanely hard but feels much more rewarding when you pull it off.

this is really bad because if they scout your proxy they just block you from swapping the factory onto the reactor
or they just harass your scv to death because you have nothing to protect it
Does anyone know the build order for GuMiho anti-swarm host thor drop opener?
I am currently doing it of 2 bases with a 1-1-1 opener but I am not sure if this is optimal. As soon as I have 2 thors I go and drop their 3rd or natural.

Watch SSL INnoVation vs Solar Grand Finals Game 2 (It should be on overgrowth) That is the most optimal version of it.
Bio-Tank gets crushed by banelings. Drop-heavy 4M seems to work decently but only if drops are babysat so they don't fly over hydras. Parade pushing sometimes works but is harder than LBM parade pushing.

Well the first thing we do is look to the pros! They always know what to do! oh wait.. Snute 3-0'd both Kelazhur and Major? hm.. Thats okay! we can look at the playoffs! oh Dayshi also got 2-0'd? Darn.. oki new plan clap them hands together and pray to god they get nerfed Halludavidkimluya Jk. In all seriousness Bio tank is your best option, try to stretch it out and force them to take the worse engages by isolating a position with tanks. Marauders aren't too big or needed but you def want to have 1 rax producing em at a time. Personally Id go for 7 rax 2 facs 1 starport and after reaching like 6-9 medivacs start doing single drops and lib harass while sieging their base. Early on before then just try to clear creep and shave off lings. At the moment though it is a very hard style to beat. But like Zergs figured out to deal with terrans 2-1-1, we will learn to deal with their Hydra lingbane comps

Yeah, watching guys like INnoVation and Maru lose to Hyrda/Ling/Bane is.....demoralizing.
In recent times I've found opening 2-1-1 on Interloper, 3rax on Catallena, Hellion Banshee Ascension to Aiur and Mech Depot, And finally 3CC (2Hellions) on Abyssal and Acolyte very effective openers. However, I am curious how have the rest of you guys been opening? Note: My only veteo is Odyssey. Its just bad for TvZ

There's no reason to go out and fight this until you have your 4th completely locked with planetary/some tanks and then you go out with alot of tanks making sure your flanks are clear as you progress across the map to his rally. Tank +attack too. 3rd factory and make less bio and more tanks against this obv.
