The true shame of NA in OpTic's case IMO is that on the back of such success, it fell apart because of lack of professionalism, instead of motivating like never before these players to try hard, and harder.

In a top tier team, if you are having two bad months, they want to kick you. So could mean anything right now with kio.

So far it's been two teams for kio: EnVyUs and FaZe. In EnVy that was mostly chemistry and motivation that wasn't there anymore. On FaZe, he performed extremely well save for the major, and was replaced by a far bigger player in Olof. In the second case, I think it's more about being in the wrong place at the wrong time. And I really think that won't work as well though. If teams decide to focus on killing kio to win, that might be an indicator that if he's a problem, that's mostly for the opponents. The new FaZe looks a bit weird to me. I really think they landed more fragging power, that undeniable, but they lost stability and a good balance of roles. To sum it up, I don't think there's enough room in a single team for Olof, Rain, NiKo and GuardiaN. One of these will need to really adapt and play a different style than they used to, for it to work.

There's still an issue with awping, I feel there's no good awper besides kennyS right now in the french scene. SIXER is meh, to1nou is decent but still not good enough, YOUYOU is still largely lacking experience. For all the shit SmithZz got late in his career, his departure from the playing field has removed a good (even if declining and clearly not as good as he used to) awper from this scene.

Something Zeus did with Gambit. Something MSL achieved here and there with dignitas (he also had mistakes). I don't know if that's because I missed the very games era, but I truly don't have that much confidence in Ex6tenZ abilities right now (and for a few years now) to be a top IGL. Funnily enough, I think his best and most promising period in relatively recent times was right before he got kicked of G2...

Since then it's been rather lackluster, even though he had way weaker lineups. But at the same time, that's also what a good IGL should be: a leader that makes his players improve, go way beyond what you'd expect of them, and as a team. Something Zeus did with Gambit. But yeah not likely to be relevant anytime soon imo.

kNg been playing 4D chess all along, he wanted to leave Immortals since horvy... Rip Teles brothers, fnx is also still on Immortals contract. I also don't understand why Immortals are like 'yeah let's treat this like LOL and get a backup'. Unlike MOBA, skillset differ.
