(attack was on 5th minute, he had many roaches and 2 queens) Well scouting it is a plus :p Things that should alarm you : no third base, a lair, 4 gases. Make depots to provide vision on the edges of your main base, or have a marine patrol there.
Without scouting it's gonna be tough depending on your opening build so you needed all your scvs and army at the nydus once it popped out. I'm not a fan of focusing the nydus first cause they usually transfuse it but if he had only 2 queens you could probably have killed it. If you know its roach nydus, tanks and liberators are great defensive tools.

1. Why some players dodging matches? 2. Is it theoretically possible to be getting gradually worse and fast than improving from playing?

Of course it's possible to get worse. Every time you do something wrong that you don't catch yourself doing it's going to gradually get stored into your reflexes and routine. And once it's in there it takes a whole lot longer to unlearn than just having learned the correct thing to begin with. That's why it's important to review your games after having played them. Also stay focused and sharp. If you start treating games like a chore, you're tired, or simply just bored, it becomes a breeding ground for bad habits.
There could be a variety of reasons people dodge matches, but I suspect many do it because they want to focus on only one spesific matchup at a time and/or they don't want to increase in rank while practicing.

You can bind ' (key left of 1) as control group 10 if you don't use that already
If you put your army production on a single control group you can just tab through them to build units, that saves 2 hotkeys but i know some people don't like it
I personally use : ' additional air / spellcaster 1 army 2 air / spellcaster 3 barracks / factories / starports 4 CCs / ebays / armory

How do most pro zergs inject these days?
I haven't played zerg much but I feel like trying again.
I used to hotkey my queens, and then pressing the hotkey, inject - space, inject - space and so on. But if you lose a queen it fucks it up. And sometimes a queen will randomly wander to another hatch (maybe if the queen at that hatch doesn't have 25 energy)
What methods do top players use atm?
|
I'ts either that or cycling all hatcheries with the switch-to-next hotkey and selecting the queen with the mouse to inject.

Hey Ej. I didn't catch your reply as you didn't quote.
What is do you mean switch to next hotkey? Is that a camera key method?

There's a key which lets you cycle through hatcheries (I think it's defaulted to backspace? Might want to move that somewhere closer to actual useful position). Since it will always use the closest available queen to inject, you can spam "cycle->queens hotkey->inject" at a very fast pace.

Hi,
I have a very specific question and I'm not sure if this fact is even known to the community.
When SCV is building a building is it's behavior (moving over building) in any way deterministic or it is just random? More specifically - am I able to place the SCV somehow in the middle of the building (to not be attacked by melee units) or it is not possible?
I like Starcraft 2 especially because of it's unrandomness and this thing seems like the only problem. (Except random attack delay of course)
Thank you for your answers!

It is random, but you're able to stop working on it, move him to another side, and continue the work

Thank you for your answers! It is random, but you're able to stop working on it, move him to another side, and continue the work yep and this micro is not really hard to do. you see it from diamond+ level terrans who do ebay blocks all the time. i don't see any reason you should be able to 100% protect the SCV from melee - in fact this would drastically change how ZvT openers work because there would be nothing to disincentivize terran greed. pool first 2-4 ling pressure being in the meta is good for the game. it has very simple counters if it frustrates you as a terran - either SCV scout or just keep the reaper at home until the ling timing passes
to explain how it works a bit further - as you suspend the build order the SCV will start to "float" away from the build site, but you can tell him to start building again by right clicking the build site in the middle of that "float," which kind of rerolls the randomizer and sends the SCV in odd directions. it's the safest way to do it because you don't have to fully expose the SCV, you're relying on misdirection and jukes to avoid attacks. make sure you suspend the build rather than cancelling it, which will explode the building. i think the default key to suspend building is T, not sure though

Not quite related to strategy, but maybe i can get a quick answer here ...
Is there a way to play ranked on bnet (so to get/lose points) with creating a game? So you can play with someone you know - or play rematch?

No, the only possible ways to gain/lose MMR is by queuing ranked or playing automated tournaments afaik.

Hmm wow ... thats dumb ... :D
but thanks

ive noticed that some pro terrans load up units into a few medivacs in a clump of 10+ and quickly boost them away. Is there some sort of trick to this? How can they so accurately click the loaded medivacs so quickly?
