Solar would need to win the thing to overtake him. Probably Soo is the only real danger, and he needs to make it to the finals too i think

For sure I'd favor Trap's position there. Also he still had the prism to keep him pinned back Hold on with what though? Adept warpins? Stats would have been allin anyway so prism harass wouldn't make much of a difference.
I'd agree with you maybe if Stats didn't have a prism already.

But 3 immortals+3 archons+prism, and whatever Stats would have warped in after, I don't see him holding.
Doesn't really matter. It was an extremely bad decision to gg there. He has nothing to lose, for gods sake

I think he would have had enough time to make a defence.

He can get 1-2 warp-ins rounds before Stats' attack hits and can also get Archons. Adepts are pretty good in lower scale fights.

But I don't think it was an idra GG timing at all. Trap wasn't in a winning position when he left.

This is one of the situations where it would be fun to see 2 players use the resume from replay function and play out a "what if..." scenario. I still stand by my opinion that Trap was in a winning position.

I think Stats would have won regardless but imo it was like a 60-40 scenario not something to GG over right then and there

Yaaas! $o$ shall return once more!!!

He had 7 adepts alredy and a prism. Question is how many gateways he had... He could have time for 2 more warpins.

$O$, you made me proud today! Blizzcon after 2 years of not making it. 3 JAGW of 3 races, baby!

Other than that, Stats vs Trap game 1 and 2 were great.

Trap would have won. That last GG was awful.

This, anyone who thinks that stats had anything more than a snowballs chance in hell is out of their mind

Edit: Maru just undestands this game on a different level. I guess he is doing this builds to keep the creep under control. In a normal game you cannot make creep pressure that good. Normally zerg is favored in TvZ and these 2 should be more or less evenly matched. Rogue makes no mistakes, Maru wins I would say easily. Rogue never made any pressure on Maru.
Proxy 2rax has evolved into a standard opener for Maru.

He lost a lot of workers but that doesn't mean he couldn't warp in at all. Trap should not have left the game when he did since it was a fight for his Blizzcon life, but he probably would have lost.
