I'm so very happy premium tournaments finally continue!

Are the group stages played online? Are any matches played offline, and if they are, where are they played? Will it be possible to actually go and watch any games live?

Unfortunately no. No where to watch games live. Games are played only online until ro6.

The reason why MCanning doesn't have a picture in the OP is because God is ethereal and any depiction we make of him would be an insult to his perfection.

What are you talking about? It's just a bug, his face is just above where it should normaly be.

They said it would be offensive to some cultures to show the face of God in a less than perfect light. Definitely not exaggerating this.

No information yet, but should be just a studio show without audience. Probably happens in previous casting studio that was used for challenger last year.

That was kind of what I thought / feared. Was hoping for some confirmation that it would be in front of an audience. It seems such an incredible waste not to have this tourney live.

Then who's this, if not the face of God? + Show Spoiler +

Hopefully the other WCS events will allow audiences

Got to say, the scheduling is absolutely horrid for the Asia/Oceania players, who have to play at 3-6am. When 14 out of 32 players, that is almost half of the players, are from those regions, starting at 2pm EST is setting them up for failure on top of the cross server lag to NA they have to experience. I know it's called WCS Winter Americas and the casters are in the US, but they should at least accommodate half of the Circuit by starting at, say 6pm-8pm EST or even 12pm EST is better. Just my two cents.

That's understandable, but also consider this: the Asian/Oceanian audience won't be able to tune in to cheer for their region since it's middle of the night on a workday for them.

It's also cheaper this way, you don't have to pay the staff for the off hours and Oceania-NA time is hard to schedule in every case, I guess it could be latter but it will never be great for both East coast and Australia.

Pretty excited for the EU group.
Pretty disgusted that people are disrespecting elfi by calling another player "God".

That's obscene! Those Brood War fanatics must have spread the word, they were the first to call "God" that subpar Flash guy.
