Till might do better at middle weight. I also think the div is a little shallower so that could help. The move has helped gastleman and Till is bigger than him.

Before this deal the price used to be $65 USD. The UFC PPV price will now be $60 USD. ESPN+ is $5 USD. So the price remains the same. The broadcast will be streamed and not TV broadcast so consumers with weak internet connections might face issues.

I would think that it's going to be an issue for a lot of people though. Having only one provider for PPV, some people are used to doing it one way and the hassle of subscribing to a service will turn a lot of people off. I guess UFC's logic was that ESPN will give them a high percentage cut of the PPV, and for ESPN its good, because it gets all legally streaming UFC fans to ESPN. To me it seems like a step away from PPV and a step towards subscription model. I mean if the UFC is getting $300mil a year from ESPN, and per year, they sell what, 4-5mil PPV's, at say an average 60% share (since traditionally it was 50/50, and more on their website, etc.) That's like $180mil~, so PPV is making less and less sense for them too. We will see what it means for growth though, in theory they do have a large sports audience to tap in to at ESPN, but idk, I've always felt like UFC targeted a bit of a different audience than the typical NHL/NBA crap, so I do think it's going to hamper their growth with those people, which is a bummer, as I dislike watching all big league team sports, and his they're structured. Just seems like the typical sell out move, imo.

As far as I'm concerned, Moraes has a 17 fight win streak. Imo do Benavides vs Formiga for title eliminator, in mean time have Cejudo go for the belt. Too many good guys at 135 that should battle for position. I'm good with Petr Yan, Aljamain, Munhoz, and Lineker getting a title shot with one convincing win. Match 2 of them up with the old guard (Rivera, Assuncao, and Cruz), and two of the four against each other, and let chaos theory do it's thing.

Yup, don't care for him either. If he fights 3x per year, and takes a fight and Max and somebody else in the top 5, wins, and fights Khabib shortly after, I'll care. At this point I'm more likely to buy a PPV to watch Ben, Maycee, Stylebender, Costa, Moraes, and all the up and comers. Also, his whiskey is shit, you're better off buying something from a plastic bottle for $15. A person like Jon Jones is much better for MMA, even with the controversy, because he cares about legacy and breaking records, and fans care for that stuff.

I guess time will tell but I would very much be in favor. https://www.msn.com/en-ca/sports/mma/sonnen-says-there-is-a-fight-in-the-works-between-jones-and-miocic/ar-BBViJzv Yup, fight to make for sure. Fights like Smith and Santos won't do much for Jones and his legacy, must be hard to wake up for training if you know that a dominant decision is almost a loss rather than a win. Jones taking two fights at HW is a good idea, let LHW develop a little bit. I think Reyes, Santos, Walker, or Corey all need 2 wins to make a convincing match up against Jones. Maybe Santos with one more solid KO win can make a claim, but idk. Jones being a - 800 favorite isn't super super exciting. I'm glad he's staying busy though. As much as I don't like Cuckhold, I think that's a fight that fans would be into as well. Should be a pretty good match up too, since he's good technically, just a weaker chin, but that could be the dehydration, and Jones isn't the hardest hitter.

Meh, I don't think he has much too lose, and a lot to gain legacy wise. Jon is down for it, fans are down for it. Imo bigger chance DC fights Jones than Brock. Brock is 41, without steroids, not a chance he walks into the UFC imo. There's nobody left for DC to fight outside of Jon vs Stipe winner if that ends up happening. It's that, or he retires. I'd take that last 5+ million fight if I were him and ride off into the sunset. At HW I'd give him a 40% chance of beating Jones too.
