If that's the going price for teens that have barely proven themselves... De Ligt at least is way further along in his development. And vd Beek is probably at a similar place. Also, time to up the asking price for Ziyech and Neres. Clearly absurd prices are only getting absurderer, so 30m for Ziyech is way too low. Dont get it either. To me this just shows that Jorge Mendes still has a lot of power behind the scenes. Also, going forward i expect benfica to buy 2 or 3 players that are shit from atlético for huge sums.

(also the karma for punching fabinho's head and getting rewarded with a FK 4 yards in front) only a Peru win would make this cup a bit more fair, but that seems unlikely

VAR should have just confirmed it. What it shouldn't have done was that penalty against Paraguay and many other things did anybody watch the Egypt game? bad news for Mane too, his chances decrease without Salah in it, as anyone who knows how this works would understand.

Also this whole Copa just sums up South American football. Good quality in spells, but the majority of the games are decided by idiotic things which have nothing to do with football, whether it be the fans going crazy and invading the pitch or referees being so awful and borderline corrupt. Does seem that the only time South American football gets any praise is when they play outside of the continent.

Do you watch World Cup or any other european competition? Does seem that the only time South American football gets any praise is when they play outside of the continent. Doesn't reach the levels of the people of Blatter.

Well, troll apart who's not even on South Korea's level. Very undeserved 3rd place for Argentina not only because they shouldn't have been out of group stage and everything, but today due to the first illegal goal off a FK rolling ball. Suspended Messi won't complain about that one will he?

Lol your so delusional you make me look sane :D I watched the European cup final yes which was not a game of bad ref calls or fans invading the pitch or what not. Was just a not so good football match played 3 weeks after the season had ended. There was no corrupt refereeing at the last year world cup at all, no one has said that nor will ever say that either. VAR was introduced and penalties were given correctly to the laws of the game. What does Blatter have to do with anything, guy was corrupt for taking payments to put the world cup into countries as far as i understood he never once corrupted the game for an outcome to favor another team. Just to lace his own pockets by gifting the world cup to certain countries or for tv rights. If you want to have a debate like this i suggest you take off that tin foil hat you have on.

European referees officiating European vs South American matches, and then favoring their owns, just doesn't get any worse. For VAR, Pogba was offside and participated in the goal off a bullshit free-kick for France, followed by a bullshit penalty. And that was only the final.

If it wasn't Argentina or rather, Messi who had illegally assisted the opener, especially let's say against Germany for example, then the goal would've been ruled out by VAR. They look what they want and do whatever they want. Volleyball plays by rules. Football play by bullshit and the corrupt organization called Fédération Internationale de Football Association ruled by a Swiss.
