I've been wanting to throw this one out here for a while:
March 15, 2009. 2009 Shinhan Bank Winners League Playoffs, First Round Set 2 Bisu vs HoeJJa Destination
+ Show Spoiler +http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y8jSyOTylAM
No, not the ling trick, HoeJJa did that before. Instead, go to 21:00. It doesn't change the game, but it was the most impressive play of the game for me. Bisu sneaks a shuttle past scourge, then proceeds to drop two zealots and storm a mineral line with a templar you literally cannot see. All without getting caught by the scourge. The shuttle lasts long enough to get off another storm at the next base, too, but the invisi-templar was the highlight of an amazing game.

it didnt seem invisible to me...

wtf ? Its totally visible? what are you talking about^^

I don't get that one either. Is a storm more impressive if the templar isn't shown on the screen at the time? It was seen in this case but supposing we didn't see it. I hope you just didn't pay attention and thought he dropped the templar, stormed, and picked it up so fast that you could not see it.
|
So he basically flew his shuttle past the scourge hoping that Hoejja would fuck up. Which he did, but can you rely on that? Then he dropped a templar, stormed, dropped 2 zealots while moving by unloading on his shuttle, and then dropped a second templar at the other expansion. I have no idea what's special about that, it seems pretty standard to me. Killing about 6 drones or so.

You're very welcome. I've noticed you're a big NaDa fan from the LRs and stuff... feel free to send me some of your favorite games of his!

I think he just missed it and thought bisu managed to unload/storm/load instantly.

Yellow vs luxury in hite vs KTF 2009-04-25 in battle royal. + Show Spoiler +For starters, they are identical twins. And its like hteir first match vs each other after luxury left hite and wen't to KTF. And it was in battle royale which makes an interesting map in zvz since zerglings arent that scary there and you can easily 12hatch to expansion. They both did the exact same build. After standard zvz gosuness, it ended up being like 4base vs 4base zerg. The game took almost 30 minutes, which is crazy for a zvz. I think its the greatest ZvZ ever played, and i hope we will see more stuff like this. And best of all, the one usually considered worse, YELLOW won! Not sure if this fits because there isn't really many "pimp moments" i think, but overall its a mad game.

That game wasnt very good..just long. Zero vs Jaedong is still prolly one of the best ZvZs ever.

It was okay, but nothing exciting. If you like long ZvZs, you can watch any zvz on Desert Fox... It's just the way these maps are built. Here's one: The best ZvZ I ever saw was Satanik vs Tot)Xiaozi( ... Or at least, the best example of what a best ZvZ would be. It had all the criteria, but I'm sure similar games with better execution have been found before... Nevertheless, it's much more entertaining than this game.

4-22-2009 2008-2009 Shinhan Bank Proleague Bisu v Great Neo Medusa
+ Show Spoiler +I don't think it's the first time Great did his sunken colony contain but doing it against a dragon and making him look so helpless during the game sure was something.
I can't figure out how to embed the vod so you'll have to look it up on TLPD...

I would nominate his game vs free instead, it was the 1st time he did it and his defense vs free seemed harder than vs bisu.

Winners League Finals Game 2 Jaedong vs Iris
+ Show Spoiler +Jaedong opts for 2-hatch muta all-in vs Iris, going low drone saturation with early 3rd gas and getting a fast +1 air attack while rallying mutas right outside Iris' main. The game is amazing to watch; a muta-harass spectacle. Iris defends very well for most of the game, and it is was one of the most intense moments of all of Winners League. Iris is essentially non-stop making turrets and MnM around his base while slowly teching to vessels due to the non-stop harass. As Jaedong's advantage grows, he at one point amasses 2 groups of mutas at once and goes on an utter rampage, near-flawlessly controlling 2 groups at once (indeed, his control of 2 groups is better than many people's control of 1).

Zero vs Kal OSL Ro36 + Show Spoiler +Infested Terran/Lurk/scourge/Hydra contain with fancy use of infesteds.

April 28 2009 Shinhan Proleague 08-09 Zero(green) vs Luxury Battle Royale + Show Spoiler + At 8:30, Green (Zero) controls zerglings and mutas at same time. He micro's the mutas, while the zerglings are target firing the drones in presence of a sunken colony. It's simple, probably not top 10, but still something to notice.
