But I am confused: how can you be over confident AND have low self confidence at the same time? If it is then I believe im a classic example.

I do this a lot, like I think my macro is just fine, but it could definitely use some refinement. I need to work on a lot of little things that I don't think matter all that much when in fact that's how you get better.

Be around people that you can be "yourself" with. Worked pretty well for me. yeah im finding that to be true. and being more open about things. just like Travis said :D

Don't feel bad (assuming English isn't your 1st language) because he didn't say it very clearly at all... OP: I know what you're talking about I think. Even if overall you lack self-confidence you can still be overly confident in certain areas and in certain situations.

After thinking about it, I believe it revolves around confidence, knowledge and the balance between those two things. 1°) While one doesn't know shit, he still can be very confident. It's easier to make a choice, less options to chose from, or he can just act. That "fake" or "naive" confidence makes him very annoying for the wise. He can also be more shy, less confident. He doesn't know shit, after all. This humility is easier to accept. 2°) On the other hand, if one does know his shit, you expect him to be confident about it. He's the man, after all. So his display of confidence, supported by his knowledge, is accepted. But when said person appears not confident, it's also annoying for everyone (him included) because his behavior weakens his words/actions. Hope it, somehow, makes sense.
