I do that quite a bit, esp if im up late reading TL. My reading comprehension/attention span/articulation drops, so I either cant phrase my thoughts coherently, or I totally misread stuff and I have to catch myself midpost, or edit. Also I tend to go through long lurking phases, sometimes depends on IRL happenings.
I try not to be too uptight about it though, sometimes the candidness or spur of the moment reactions from other people is priceless. Definitely not saying everyone has to be super rigid about "well thought-out" posts.

So not very much : / ...
heh, thought my 2004/ <300-500 was low. Its OK!

I usually post anyways and then make like 5 edits. It's kind of like, holy crap I sound like an asshat. Then I edit it and again, I'm like, well gee that's kind of rude still. It eventually becomes something silly and generic.

About 99% of the time... Unless I can contribute with something that hasn't been already said I restrain myself from posting ergo <100 posts and account for almost 3 years
I do this all the time. If I were to post everytime I wanted I would probably have 2k+ post right now.
I do it in waves, some days I'll get 20-25 posts in a single day, other times I won't post in a week.
I'll make a post when I know it'll mean something which is hardly lolz
I do this around 90% of the time outside of my own blogs. And the 10% I do post I normally edit to be more friendly/less abrasive
Pretty much never. Post first and ask questions later. TL needs a posting hero to look up to.

^ I see what you did there...
I do it more than i post. Fair enough.
not much anymore, unless it's something that really interested me or impressed me

Happens all the time for me, im a crap-poster by nature so i tend to look at my post after im done typing it and if it is too dumb/off-topic i'll just don't post. Sometimes i do slip though and some shit posts come through
Sometimes i only post cause i like a thread but im afraid of getting warned/temp banned for posting my filthy one-liners that people could live without at the same time.
I do this all the damn time
I really only post on threads that I feel I can actually contribute something to. Even if it's just some helpful support. Every once in a while I'll post with something other than that, but I really don't see the point behind having 6 pages all saying the exact same thing. It's just a complete waste. It isn't realistic to go through every page of every thread you want to post in to see if what you've said before isn't contributing anything new, so I often don't post in threads with lots of replies. I'm one of those people who likes to be able to read a whole thread before they post anything. ^_^

Almost never. When I want to say something I say it, be it intellectual or not. (But I do keep a check on if I am stepping on another person's toes or not - if it isn't the PO )
I do that from time to time, especially when I feel like I could offend someone or just that it would be BM. I'd do that in communitys where people know me but here it cold get misunderstood pretty easily.
I have an easy time stopping posts that get too long winded, but I have trouble not making pointless "witty" observations.

Probably 10% of the time. Sometimes I tend to get myself in pointless arguments so I do my best to avoid them. I would type something up, and just be like forget it, whatever.
Very very often. But not often enough I think.
well 95% of the time when i´m done reading i think to myself. Well this topic certainly does not need another persons opinion that does not know half about the topic (including sc2) wich would be necessary to argue in one case or another. The execption is the blogsection where i like to state my opinion and/or let people know if i liked the blog.
