Hi sirs, I was wondering with the achievement
Hurry Up: It's Raid Night (10)
Complete the Wings of Liberty campaign under 8 hours of total played mission time on Normal difficulty.
If I am playing and having fun playing the arcade, talking to everyone, checking out all the maps completely how can I get the achievement? Can I re-start the campaign? Does it go by the total times on the maps, so I could go back and beat the map faster? I'm guessing there is a way to go back and get it ( at least I hope). I'm only a little in the game so I'm sure I can still make the 8hrs but if I don't I hope there is a way to re get it.
Thank you in advance for your time!

yes you can start a new campain. No do not complete all the achievements, just go main missions only and it should be relatively easy.

I got really confused with this one as each time I saved the duration kept going up and down in a really random fashion.

If it's all about mission time, skip past all the possible missions (unless you feel there's certain units you need for sure). Most likely it will allow you to improve your time in previous missions since mission archive shows your current best time of the mission.
I wonder though, can this be completed after finishing the campaign on hard or brutal without starting a completely fresh campaign by going through mission archive and replaying the missions on normal difficulty, since it has separate times for each difficulty.

Considering it says 8 hours of "mission time", I imagine that you can still talk to everyone on the hyperion and whatnot. Maybe not Lost Viking but who knows.

I did that achievement it's only mission times, but be careful, if you pause the game with f10, the time still counts.

can anyone give an ideal mission list to do this as efficiently as possible?

But what's also important, is perhaps the ORDER of which to do some missions so that you get certain units/mercenaries/tech first which might make the mission faster. I think it will be some time before either of these are figured out, but especally research/upgrade/mission orders.

Uhgggg Iam 1580 out of 1590 and this is the last achievment i need.....

This seems like as good of a place as anywhere to ask. I beat the campaign on Hard, I am going back 1 by 1 to do brutal mode and all the achievements, but I think I want to do a second play through because I ended up missing a decent amount of content (4 missions and I did the last mission without the last zerg research upgrade). I decided to do this achievement on my second play through since I am doing the brutal missions 1 by 1 already.
My question is this: is anyone aware of a tool or something that lets you plan your campaign route? I want to plan the order I do the missions in, the armory upgrades and mercs I am able to buy, and the research I am able to do. Even if there isnt a tool- does anyone know where I can see a comprehensive list of when missions unlock and the profit per mission?

I got this achievement the first time I played the game all the way through, and I still took my time looking for upgrades, new units, talking with people, etc.. I completely skipped the planet Agria (Dr. Hansen's quests) though. That probably helped a lot.

If you haven't yet finished a campaign and "start a new one" can you go back to your old one? The reason I ask is that its basically impossible to get all the upgrades for all the units with the credits you get + all the merc contracts so im thinking have to go back and do it again - anyone know how this works?

Which missions are skippable? Is it just the Tychus path that sets you on a collision course with Char, or do the other paths matter? I'm pretty sure I could get through Normal difficulty with fuckall resources and unit choices.

You basically need either tanks or vikings for All In, and MMM for every other mission, and you could beat the entire campaign.

It all depends on which save you have loaded. You can start a new campain, then load "All-In Victory" or whatever and you'll be back on the first ones.
Everything seems to get recorded regardless of the campaign your in too. So you could do half the missions on brutal, start a new campaign and do the other half and you'd still get the Karrigan icon.

it should be pretty easy I think, if you just start a new campaign, its on normal just play the needed missions and mass marine medic

Here's the path I took to do it in just under 5 hours of mission time + Show Spoiler +Got all the bonus research thingson all of these missions as well, and the end I had 5000 credits after buying all the upgrades I considered necessary.
From first to last: (19/26)
Liberation Day The Outlaws Zero Hour Smash and Grab The Devil's Playground Welcome to the Jungle The Great Train Robbery Cutthroat The Dig Whispers of Doom A Sinister Turn Echoes of the Future In Utter Darkness The Moebius Factor Supernova Maw of the Void The Gates of Hell Belly of the Beast All In
My strat for every level: Get enough M&M&M to be able to beat it and do the cute little move then attack move then attack (repeat) micro thing towards the end goal.
Except all in of course, where I just did the standard.
Also, for in utter darkness after the archives went underground I ran to the back of my base and then once I got 1500 kills I ran my army in circles over hydralisks :D

Do you have to restart your campaign or can you just replay all the individual missions?

Ahhh dammit I didn't think you could take a path like that. I ended up doing 26/29 and it took me just under 7 hours and i did what you did with just mass M&M&M and micro to victory :D

I'm wondering this too. What if I am 29/29, do I have to re-do all 29 missions, or does it just count the main story line quests.
