Some people just learn alot faster(talent) and the skill-ceiling of Halo 3 (Halo CE was an amazing game and is still being played competitive after 7 years) is pretty low. How well you can aim is pretty much all talent, your awareness and map movement is also heavily based on talent. Communication and awareness for you teamates is what you spend time practicing on.

Theres a reason the top teams in halo come every single event even though theyre already locked in. For prize money and recognition. None of these events are true qualifiers as there all important in there own right.

If you want MLG SC2 to grow quicker then it will, sell these passes out and I promise good things will come! Nice. Any particular reason the "Passes on Sale..." link goes to WoW instead of here?

I suppose, it's just that a 32 player open registration event doesn't seem like a huge deal I guess. I'll still give it a shot though ^^

I already knew that, i'm not sure what you're trying to prove.

Idra is going now? There goes my interest in participating lol, although there is prize money in top 8 so there could still be some profit, I'll have to look up flight prices and hotel costs for those times

Any euro's plan on attending even though it's short notice?

In halo 3 they have maintained top 8 but they are not the halo bonjwa's they once were. One year they won every mlg event. The ogre twins never lost a game 2v2 in halo 1 EVER! They also won the wcg 2v2 in halo 2. The last mlg halo 2 event (before they switched over to halo3) they're team of 4 consisting of Ogre1, Ogre 2, walshy, and strongside won the vegas finals without losing a single game in any best of 5's or best of 7's. But I recently read a blog by one of the ogres that says he has approximately 50,000 dollars of unpaid winnings. But he doesn't specify which events and which leagues owe him. They're team was STK (Shoot To Kill) back in the halo 1 days. They've gone by Final Boss ever since.
I played Halo 1. This is false. I stood there and watched them lose one.

It must have been in a dream you were having because they have never lost a 2v2 on LAN, whether at a tournament or in practice. That is fact.

I thought they lost at some non MLG tourny that had the weirdest rules on Beaver creek or something. Don't know exactly didn't follow MLG till halo 2.
Well the passes go on sale tonight, will there be a list for us to see who got the passes?

Aiming in Halo has never taken talent, aside from Halo 1. Aim assist, bullet magnetism, and auto aim all make it incredibly easy to 4 shot and snipe (Yes, all 3!). If the game was actually difficult, and they removed all those facets of shooting, the competitive scene would die off because it would be too hard for console gamers and teamwork would become a secondary skill inside of the primary skill.
