It will be interesting to see exactly how many top SC1 players switch over. The money is very enticing though.

any news on how long he has been playing? He's already pretty high up
oh ya. where is sangho? Up probably doesn't want to reveal himself but sangho is still on good terms
|
i think alot of B teamers will follow cause of the GSL. time will tell

Wasn't this the guy that danced to Mister in the hyungjoon show? Sad that he left MBC... even if he hasn't done much for the team. Doesn't seem like any of the S-class players will be switching to sc2 anytime soon though
|
That's unfortunate. It would have been more exciting if the first one was a significant player, or at least someone with multiple wins.

and rapped Outsider quite well.

Yeah....I'm curious how long it'll be until we see the majority of BW players switch.
|
Cool stuff.
|
I think only reject progamers who will never accomplish anything in BW will switch to sc2. Iron was never gonna win anything, so SC2 is a smart move for him. I wish him the best of luck .
|
Why wouldn't he switch?
He has a better chance of being a Top-player in sc2 than in bw...
|
Oh man, IrOn was a cool guy. Always saw him in that clip package where he was sent out for an ACE snipe I believe and did a "thumb across the neck" thing, which IRC he lost. Atleast he can say he beat EffOrt. Too bad he couldn't be on a team and be playing sc2.

For anyone who still doesn't know who they are talking about, he was aka Flounder in the show.
I think it is interesting to see which pros switch over faster in the hopes that SC2 catches on. I doubt we will see many mainstream players switch until they are sure that SC2 is going to take off though.

Ya, I think we will see a lot of B-teamers switch over in the coming months and there will be less and less top amateurs as well.
|
good to see people with no chance in BW attempting something where they have at least some chance to succeed
a-teamers wont switch unless theres a clear financial incentive to do so and GSL doesn't cut it because its a 1 trick pony tournament that doesnt offer real career incentives. its awesome but theres no point for seriously competitive a-teamers to bother with sc2 until its a viable career switch
|
Seems like a great move for him. He might be able to do really well in SC2 as compared to his current performances in BW
|
So it begins?
Because a guy who couldnt renegotiate his contract due to poor results you say it begins?
Come again?
