I'm so angry for my friend and can feel empathy for his loss so much, If it was my girl it's possible I might kill myself as well.

Which can be only found in military bases, it's really sick man. Also, I'm not blaming the extremist because I think this has something to do politically in our country. Every once a year some anti-government faction blows shit up in a certain event whether it's valentines or whatever. The bombing took place in the Birthday of our president's mom (cory aquino)

Sadly, some people don'T think with their head, but with their heart, who is then told to do x and y by someone else. OP, I'm truly sorry to hear that and I am sorry for your friend as well.

It's obvious what that post was implying. Right, that religion can cause/aid/abet/justify events like this. How does that point to ignorance? If you're implying that the post was implying that "all instances of religion everywhere cause violence," I'd say you're stretching.

He was pretty much implying that this happened because of religion. He's not mentioning anything else and from the sarcastic way he said it, it wouldn't be a stretch to take it as him thinking that religion was the prime reason and perhaps the only reason this happened. Internet new-atheists say these kind of things constantly. Whatever, fuck this kind of polemics. It's a serious shame that these kind of things happen. I can't imagine something like this happening near me or to anyone I know.

Internet new-atheists say these kind of things constantly. Hm. Yeah OK I see where you're coming from. I'd prefer not to presume to know what level of involvement he was implying religion had, but yeah I do oppose militant atheists rallying against religion at the sight of any and all tangentially-related-to-religion-negative-events. I'd still call it more knee-jerk antireligious sensationalism rather than ignorance, though. Though I'd hope you agree with me that PH wasn't helping one bit in any direction.
