17 - Game 1 - Dual Sight
Red spawns at 2 while Blue spawns at 8. As both players go for a 1 Barracks expand, a slight variation in building placement sees Blue go for a wall-in whilst Red doesn’t bother. As Blue tags on 2 more Barracks, Red opts to go for a Factory, as both players Command Centers finish up. Quickly adding on a Starport afterward, Red looks to be going for Tanks and Medivacs asap as Blue continues to churn out Marines. As Blue begins to move across the map with his high Marine count as well as try catch up in the Tech race, both players secure their naturals. In an attempt to poke the natural of Red, Blue moves his Marines forward but is denied by a superior force.
Red too begins to move out, as both players look to establish some map dominance. Catching Blue off guard, a small engagement near a Watchtower allows Red to kill off a few Marines, forcing Blue back home and giving map control for now over to Red.
As both players add on more Barracks, Red attempts a drop in the main of Blue with 8 Marines, however gets shut down after 1 or 2 SCV kills, and is forced to retreat. Ever persistent though, Red continues to try drop the main and stops mining briefly before being chased away yet again. As both players fall in to the Stereotypical Tank/Marine/Medivac play of TvT, Blue gears up for a double Medivac drop in the main of Red, however our Red Terran being always aware, sends Vikings over in that direction before the Marines even get chance to land, shutting all harass possibilities down indefinitely.
Both players attempting to establish some mid-field presence once again, by chance stumble across one another but Red gets the better side of the engagement, as 6 Tanks shell the Marines of Blue in comparisons to his opponents 1 Tank.
Red begins to Siege leap toward his opponents natural, as Blue goes for a new Command Center in hopes to expand. Red shortly after goes for an expansion as well, as Blue is partially contained at the front of his base. In an attempt to swing around past the contain, Blue chooses a different route with his Marines but is greeted by his opponents Marine force coming in the opposite direction. Blue though gets the better Siege position this time, beating back the Red forces who are forced to retreat.
In an attempt to do something meaningful, Red tries to jump forward with the Siege contain to the south, however Blue takes over in air dominance with a higher Viking count, resulting in destruction of Red’s contain completely, as Blue overtakes in supply by a whole 50. Blue manages to deny an expansion landing with 3 Marines to the north, as the remaining force of Blue moves toward the natural of Red. Sieging up on the low ground and dropping Marines in the main of Red, Blue is able to do significant infrastructure damage with his superior force, and despite a Red drop in a base of his opponent, Blue is able to eventually take the victory through sheer numbers.

19 - Game 1 - Dual Sight
Orange spawns at 2 while Red spawns at 8. As the Protoss begins to wall off his ramp, the Zerg goes for a Spawning Pool before Hatchery, realising it would just be blocked. In a bold move, the Protoss invests in a Twilight Council despite there being a Drone still in his base, however the Drone doesn’t spot it before leaving. The Zerg now has his Hatchery established, and proceeds to Drone heavily. As the Zerg pokes around in the natural of Orange, a Dark Shrine begins for some early pressure, while a Nexus goes down in the natural after fending the Zerglings off.
With a Lair now morphing in and Spine Crawlers going up, 2 Dark Templar begin to move across the field as the Protoss walls in his natural. As soon as the Lair finishes though, Red morphs in an Overseer which is able to deal with the Dark Templars in quick fashion. With Blink on the way as well as a Spire morphing in, Both players fall in to a passive stance, whilst the Zerg goes for a 2nd expansion to the north. A Dark Templar manages to spot the expansion but is dealt with quickly, whilst Mutalisks move across the map, only to have one carelessly picked off by Stalkers. As the Zerg pushes in to the natural of Protoss to try do some damage, reinforcing Stalkers push the Red army away in swift fashion. With a Roach Warren now complete, the Protoss force pushes toward the 2nd expansion of Zerg to try do some damage, and with good force-field placement, denies the Zergling surround, ultimately getting the Hatchery kill.
During this assault, a Zergling counter attack attempts to breech the Protoss natural but is denied by good building placement and warping in units. Red begins to morph in a huge amount of Roaches to deal with the pending Protoss attack, as Orange goes for an expansion to the north. Pushing in to Red’s natural, the Protoss force does massive damage with the help of force-fields and Blink, however gets pushed away by an extra 11 Roaches hatching.
With a Robotics Facility now on the way, the Zerg looks to deny the 2nd expansion of Protoss, but is quickly welcomed by the Stalker heavy Orange army. Utilising good Blink decisions and micro, the Protoss army stands victorious as 20 more Roaches morph in back at the Zerg’s base. Borrow begins for Red, as the reinforced Roach force pushes in to the natural of Protoss to snipe a Robotics Facility. This small triumph is short lived though as the Stalkers come in from both sides and clean up with great Blink micro. The Zerg is forced to GG after losing too much and having too little an economy.

Millz VS Kuma

08 - Game 1 - Dual Sight
Kuma, the Protoss, spawns at 8 while Milz , the Terran, spawns at 2. Both players go for very standard openers, as Milz goes for a Tech Lab after Marine, along with a second Barracks and Stim upgrade for some potential early pressure. Kuma on the other hand seems to be going for a Proxy Stargate along with Warpgate tech. Adding on two more Gateways, Kuma starts Chrono
Boosting out Void Rays for the initial assault. A closer Proxy Pylon goes down for the Protoss, however when attempting to push in the advanced race is only greeted by a Bunker and Marauders, and as the Bunker falls, the remaining Barracks units are forced to retreat up the ramp.
During all this, Milz has been producing a Factory and a Command Center, however having ceased mining, due to pulling all his SCVs off the line to defend against the Protoss push, every second Blue is slowly falling behind in economy. Kuma decides to push up the ramp, whilst expanding behind it to the northern Gold base. Upon reaching the top of the ramp the Protoss notices all the SCVs ready to pounce, and backs off quickly. Poking around with Charged Void Rays though, Kuma is able to do more damage as there is just not enough Marines to deal with the airborne threat. Kuma continues to warp in units near the base of Blue to continue the pressure, while throwing down a Robotics Facility and Milz, now back to mining, goes for a Starport. Frantically sprinting toward Viking production, the Terran will be heavily locked in to his base until they pop out. Kuma now invests in a Twilight Council along with a Robotics Bay, as Milz attempts to throw up a Command Center yet again. Realising the Terran is constricted to one base, Protoss now expands to his natural to pull ahead by two bases. Milz continues Viking production to try break out.
Almost mined out in his main, Milz goes for a break out, Stimming and attempting to push down his ramp. Kuma throws down some solid force-fields, denying a good amount of the Terran troops from engaging, however already in the lead, he decides to not continue the engagement and moves back. Kuma decides it’s time to abandon the contain and moves back. However, with Charge now researched and Colossus out on the field, the Protoss is in firm position to clinch the match at any time. Milz begins to move out to Kuma’s Gold base with his army, however the Protoss force denies damage being done as it’s far too powerful to engage. Behind, Milz sees no other choice than to Stim and try take out the position. Kuma pushes hard into the Terran army, decimating it and sealing the win witha push into Milz’s natural with his remaining force.

01 - Game 1 - Crossfire SE
Golden ends up spawning at 1 while Drugbird spawns at 7 for the first series of the day. Golden decides to open with Spawning Pool and Extractor first while Drugbird goes for a slightly variation of the same build. Drugbird commits quickly to a Roach Warren as the first Zerglings for Golden move across the map. With both players’ Zergling Speed well under way, each player goes for a Hatchery as well as Golden tagging on his own Roach Warren after scouting Drugbird’s. A large amount of Zerglings for Golden move out and secure the cancel on Drugbird’s Hatchery, swiftly followed by Roaches denying anymore damage being done.
Now behind in an expansion, Drugbird goes for a Baneling Nest while blocking off his ramp with Roaches to deny scouting. While Golden pumps constant Roaches, Drugbird goes for a Zergling/Baneling/Roach mix without attempting to re-expand, potentially for an all-in. Golden attempts to push up the ramp of Drugbird with a heavy Roach force, however decides to back up once he sees the unit count of the opposing army. Drugbird pursues with Zerglings constantly nibbling at the heels of the Roaches, pushing Golden back to his natural where both of them commit to the engagement. With Queen’s joining the battle, Golden is able to hold the Drugbird onslaught and eventually force the retreat. Golden now with a huge economic lead over Drugbird and is able to muster his forces and push in for the killing blow, securing the GG in the first game against Drugbird.

16 - Game 1 - Metalopolis
Frozen, the Protoss, spawns at the 12 while the red Terran Ryung spawns at 6 for cross positions. Both players open standard as Ryung throws down a Reactor on his initial Barracks, shortly followed by a Command Center. Meanwhile, Frozen constructs a Proxy Stargate and two more Gateways for a heavy-pressure build. As two more Barracks go down for the Terran, a Bunker goes up at the ramp as well to bolster defense.
Frozen Chrono Boosts his Void Rays while mass Marines pop for the Terran. As the Protoss throws down a closer Proxy Pylon to begin the assault, the second Void Ray appears to complete the Protoss force. Frozen begins the assault using the low ground near the mineral line as a staging point. He deals crippling damage and forces the GG from Ryung.

07 - Game 1 - Xel’Naga Fortress
Yellow spawns at 7 while Red spawns at 11. Yellow opts to go for a 9 Spawning Pool while Red goes for a Pylon on the low ground, indicating a Forge expand. Red throws up his Forge, along with a Gateway in conjunction with the initial Pylon to create a good wall. Yellow moves across the map toward the natural of Red, who has already scouted the incoming attack and throws down a Photon Cannon and an extra Pylon to complete the walls structure. As the Zerglings attempt to find a hole Red pulls Probes off the line to ensure no breech occurs. The first Zealot pops out to fend off the Zergling attack, as Red now throws down a Cybernetics Core.
Yellow behind this slight aggression has thrown down a Hatchery, along with Droning heavily. With Zergling Speed now on the way, Yellow pokes in to the natural of Red yet again and notices no expansion has been started. Red in the mean time has thrown down 3 more Gateways in his main as well as continued to Chrono Boost out Warpgate Tech. A Roach Warren as well as a Spine Crawler now begin for Yellow, sensing all is not right with the Protoss’ lack of striving for a better economy. As Red begins to move across the map with a potential 4 Gateway pressure play, he also throws down a Nexus to try catch up with the Zerg in the income war. As the Protoss continues to poke around in mid-field with his force, a Robotics Facility goes down as well as a Lair morphing. Yellow attempts to secure a 2nd expansion while continuing to produce Roaches. As Glial Reconstitution begins, so too does a Robotics Bay for Colossus production, as the Zerg also throws down a Baneling Nest and the Ventral Sacs upgrade. Adding on more Gateways, Red begins to move out across the map with the heavy Gateway unit force, as the Zerg morphs in a huge amount of Banelings to counter. Protoss kills off almost all the Creep tumors at the front of the Zerg base, crippling mobility as Yellow attempts to set up for a flank. However, after killing the Tumors, Red falls back and the Zerg decides not to execute the attack.
Attempting to expand to a 2nd expansion near the middle, the Protoss now throws down a Twilight Council along with continuing Colossus production. With the Zerg army now maxed, while Red trails at 152, Yellow moves his forces out with Banelings loaded in Overlords. Dropping Banelings all across the army of the Protoss, a great deal of units fall prey to the green explosions, however with good unit control, Red manages to save a lot of his army. however, the Zerg re-maxes extremely quickly and steam-rolls to victory.

18 - Game 1 - Metalopolis
Yellow spawns at 6 while Blue spawns at 12. Blue proceeds to wall in his ramp while the Zerg goes for a Spawning Pool before Hatchery. With a Hatchery now on the way though, Yellow sends Zerglings across the map, however they are unable to scout the Factory and Command Center going down. As a Roach Warren begins to morph in for the Zerg, the Terran decides to Blue-flame it up with Hellions on the way as well. As 3 Hellions push across the map, Roaches hatch just in time for the assault to be pushed back, while the Terran goes for more Barracks in his main.
Blue now goes for Tanks and Siege tech, along with a Starport to boot. The Zerg meanwhile morphs in a Baneling Nest, as well as a 2nd expansion at the 9 minute mark. As the Terran moves across the map with Marines and Tanks, the Zerg goes for a Zergling surround on the opposite lane. As the Terran pushes in to the natural to do damage, the Surround occurs, demolishing the Terran push with many Zerglings left over. During this a Lair finishes morphing in, as the Terran attempts to establish some defense.
With Baneling Speed and a Spire now on the way, Blue begins construction of a 3rd Command Center, as well as more Factories and Barracks to reinforce. As Zerglings run in to try deny the 3rd from going down, they are chased away, during which the Terran stages a drop in the 2nd expansion of Zerg, ceasing mining for a short period of time before being chased away by Zerglings. As Mutalisks and Banelings hatch, both players go for a base-race scenario, with Zerglings running in to the natural of Blue, and the Terran army march in to the 2nd expansion of Yellow. However, un-microed, the Banelings plow through the force of Terran, leaving nothing alive, as the Zerg force rips apart Blue’s base. Blue GGs shortly after due to a lack of everything.

Frozen VS Lots

15 - Game 1 - Terminus SE
Lots the blue Terran spawns at 9 while Frozen, the light blue Protoss, spawns at 6. Both players open relatively standard, however Lots goes for a “Maka” Barracks build in his second natural for some potential 2 Barracks pressure. As the Protoss adds on 2 more Gateways for a likely 3 Gate expand, Lots begins to research Concussive Shells and pumping out Marines via a Reactor. Now throwing down an expansion, Frozen warps in a few units at the front of Lots’ natural and goes for a poke. Despite grabbing a Marauder kill, the Protoss force ends up being sandwiched, and forced to retreat.
Lots now goes for his own expansion on the low ground, confident that Frozen won’t be attempting pressure any time soon after the previous engagement. As a Factory goes down, quickly followed by a Starport, the Protoss player adds on 3 more Gateways for a potential 6 Gateway push. Two more Barracks get added on as both players scuffle in mid-field for Watchtower control. Frozen makes his move with a 6 Gate push while constructing a Twilight Council in the background. With Proxy Pylons to reinforce, he pushes in to the natural, separating the Bio forces of the Terran and taking out the Bunker in quick succession. After dealing significant damage to Lots’ army, the Frozen decides to fall back slightly and begin work on the rocks near the Terran’s base.
With Zealot Charge now almost finished and his rock wall crumbling, Lots is forced to lift off his 2nd Barracks. The final push comes as soon as the Protoss upgrades complete, allowing Frozen to steam-roll though the Terran with ease and claim the GG!

Blue immediately begins to wall off the top of his ramp with Supply Depots and Barracks as Yellow goes for a quick Hatchery.Shortly after Yellow goes for his Spawning Pool as the Terran grabs a quick Factory, followed by a Starport and Reactor on the Factory. Yellow in the mean time has invested in a Roach Warren, while Terran begins Hellion production and moves out with 2 extremely quickly. Having poked in to the natural only to be greeted by a Spine Crawler, the Hellions retreat while Roach production begins and a Banshee also starts. Blue attempts to poke in to the natural yet again with 4 Hellions however Roaches deny any damage being done, during which time the Terran begins a Command Center.
As the Command Center for Blue finishes up, 2 more Barracks go down while once again trying to poke in to the base of Yellow with Hellions. The Zerg’s Lair begins to morph in as the Hellions dart around in the natural, grabbing 10 Drone kills before their pressure is halted. The Terran now begins Siege Tank and Tech production while more Reactors are added to existing buildings for some major Marine and Medivac production. Yellow now begins his Baneling Nest as well as Zergling Speed almost 10 minutes in to the game. During all this a small attempt at Banshee pressure occurs, grabs 6 worker kills but is denied by Queen’s. An Infestation Pit and Glial Reconstitution begin for the Zerg, as Terran seems to make a push out along the southern path. Terran sieges just on the border of Creep, as the Zerg begins to morph in a few Banelings. As Blue slowly leap-frogs forward with Tanks, the Marines stim and push in hard against Roaches and Queens. In desperation to cease the hold, Zerg pushes in from the front with Roaches, while Banelings come in from the back. However it’s not enough and Yellow GGs shortly after.
03 - Game 2 - Crevasse
Yellow after a somewhat one sided defeat spawns at 7 while Blue spawns at 5. Blue begins to wall off his ramp again while Yellow goes for a quick expansion in his backdoor natural. Blue also goes for a quick expansion after Barracks, while Spawning Pool and Extactor get built for the Zerg. As the expansion for the Terran completes, a Factory begins, along with 2 more Barracks. Yellow begins to morph in his Lair, along with another expansion whilst droning very heavily as no pressure has come out yet. A Starport goes down for Blue as Tank production continues, while Yellow goes for a Baneling Nest. Yet more Barracks go down for the Terran now, as Yellow has had chance to do huge amounts of Creep Spread as well as throw down a Spire and morph in multiple Banelings. Terran pushes out to the Creep of Yellow, however a beautifully orchestrated double pronged surround devastates most of the Terran force.
Undeterred by losing a large portion of his army, Blue continues to poke the natural of Yellow with his remaining force. Blue actually manages to get the Hatchery kill with Marines despite a large Zergling force waiting in the wings, scared to do much due to Tank support.
Despite the Hatchery falling, the Mutalisks have now popped, and begin to do damage to the mineral line of Terran’s natural. Some mis-control of Zerglings at the front of Yellow’s base gets them killed off and Terran begins to push in further. As more and more Banelings morph in, The Zerg gear up for a double pronged attack. Yellow goes for the pincer move but in slightly un-coordinated fashion. Terran cleans up the assault and pushes in to the main of the Zerg, who calls GG due to having almost no army lef

12 - Game 1 - Typhon Peaks
Blue spawns at 10 while Yellow spawns at 7. The Protoss begins to create a standard wall in for PvZ whilst the Zerg goes for Spawning Pool and Extractor before Hatchery. Yellow decides to expand right after Spawning Pool for a standard opening, along with Zergling Speed and a few scouting Zerglings, as the Protoss player goes for a Stargate after one Gateway for some potential Airborne pressure. As the first Void Ray pops and kills an Overlord on it’s way to the Zerg base, Phoenix begin to pour out of the Stargate while Yellow goes for Spine Crawlers at his natural. As the assault begins, the Zerg throws down a few Spore Crawlers to deal with the pressure, as a Queen has already fallen to the power of the Void Ray.
Behind the pressure, Protoss expands and his air pressure is all but ceased due to overwhelming Queen and Spore Crawler numbers. With a Robotics Facility now on the way, the Protoss scouts around with Phoenix to notice a Lair morphing in as well as a Hatchery going down at a second expansion. Blue goes for a Robotics Bay while the Zerg invests in a Hydralisk Den at the same time as Droning extremely hard. As a Spire begins, so too does Grooved Spines while the Protoss begins Colossus production and continues to poke around with his remaining Phoenix. Blue decides to break down the rocks between the two opponents and push in to the natural with his force. However, the Zerg goes for a counter attack on the Protoss natural, only to be spotted by an Observer, triggering a Protoss retreat. mis-micro sees 2 Colossus fall to the Zerg force only to have Yellow retreat whilst losing almost nothing, clinching a small victory for the Swarm.
As the Zerg continues to pump Mutalisks, the Protoss force pushes in to the natural of Yellow, destroying the Hatchery, however a counter attack from the Zerg pierces the natural of Protoss, killing his Nexus as well. As Protoss scrambles back home to defend his base, the Zerg swarm decends upon the army of Blue, and even though the battle looks initially won the Protoss, reinforcing Zerglings quickly flood in to demolish the remaining Stalkers. Good micro however manages to save the Stalkers, who live to fight another day.
As Protoss attempts to re-expand, he takes his remaining force and charges in to the main of Yellow. However with such an economic lead, the Zerg is able to one again overwhelm the Protoss, clinching victory.
13 - Game 2 - Terminus SE
Blue spawns at 12 while Yellow spawns at 3. The Protoss goes for a Forge expand build whilst the Zerg opts for a more safe Spawning Pool before Hatchery. As Zerglings attempt to breach the defenses of the Protoss they are denied by a Cannon and fall back. Instead of putting on actual pressure at the front of Blue’s natural, the Zerglings go for the back rocks in an attempt to open up more avenues of attack. During this Yellow goes for a second expansion, while the Protoss invests in 2 Stargates in his natural. As a Lair begins to morph in, the Stargates complete and Phoenix production begins from both. As the Phoenix enter Zerg air space, several Spore Crawlers get planted along with a Hydralisk Den. Despite there being Spore Crawlers to defend, Blue is still able to get a few Drone and Queen kills before moving away from the base to kill Overlords.
Whilst all this is occuring in the main of Yellow, a huge bunch of Zerglings sit poised to strike at the second natural of Blue and manage to force the cancel on an expansion, as the Protoss Phoenix fleet continues to grow and poke in the expansions of Yellow. Blue now decides to switch it up in to Void Rays, Chrono boosting 2 out at a time whilst attempting to expand again. The Zerglings swing in yet again to cancel the Nexus, as massive amounts of Hydralisk pop from Yellows base. Chased away by the now powerful air fleet of the Protoss, the Zerglings dart back in for one final attempt at damage, however they’re not able to get a third Nexus cancel.
With a Spire now on the way, the Zerg gears up to build as much anti-air as possible, whilst the Protoss plants down 3 more Gateways to reinforce the ground. A huge force of Hydralisks begin to move toward the natural of the Protoss, as a Robotics Bay goes down. With Pathogen Glands now on the way for Zerg, the slow and lumbering Hydralisks get divided and killed off in mid-field by well placed Force-fields.
The scary Protoss army now moves toward the 4th base of Zerg, forcing the cancel on the Hatchery whilst in hot pursuit of Yellow’s remaining force. As the Hydralisks go down, the Zerglings escape to fight another day. During this time Yellow has been able to create a sizable force at his natural, consisting of Infestors/Hydralisks/Zerglings, and as the Protoss force pushes toward the base of Zerg, Infestors plant some fantastic Fungal Growths on the majority of the Protoss army. Now weakened, Blue is forced to fall back as his shields are depleted from relatively little cost to the Zerg. Blue invests in a Twilight Council, as well as another Nexus on a direct attack path to the Zerg, as Yellow begins Mutalisk production. The Zerg in response throws down 2 more Hatcheries in secret locations to the south, whilst Blue begins to research Gravatic Boosters for Observers.
With a Templar Archives now on the way for Protoss, the Zerg attacks the second natural of Protoss with around 30 Zerglings, however does little damage. Sensing the time is right, Blue pushes in to the natural of Zerg whilst Yellow launches a full force counter attack with his army. The Protoss army pulls back, despite already losing a Nexus and continues to pursue the fleeing Zerg. the Hydralisks decide to engage and get torn apart by the Protoss, and despite counter attacking yet again, the Protoss maxed army pushes in to the natural of Zerg and clinches the GG as the death ball is too strong, tieing the series 1:1.
14 - Game 3 - Xel’Naga Fortress
Protoss spawns at 3 while the Zerg spawns at 11 for the final game of this series. The Protoss places his first Pylon at the base of his ramp, looking to go for an early expansion, whilst the Zerg goes for a Spawning Pool before Hatchery. The Nexus goes down, quickly followed by a Forge, as the Protoss begins to create a small wall. As an expansion for Zerg goes down, Zerglings make their way in to the natural of Blue, causing trouble but eventually being fended off by a second morphing in Cannon. In response to such an early expansion by the Protoss, Yellow goes for a second expansion to the south, knowing that the Protoss is unable to apply any pressure too soon.
Blue begins to build 3 more Gateways as well as a Twilight Council, as a Lair morphs in and another 20 Zerglings are produced. A Dark Shrine quickly proceeds the Twilight Council, along with Blink for Stalkers as yet more Zerglings hatch. A Hydralisk Den and Overlord Speed begin for the Zerg whilst the Protoss plays very passive. 3 Dark Templar begin to morph in on the low ground and make their way over to the base of Yellow, however an Overseer and Spore Crawlers at each base are on their way. Despite that though, the Protoss is able to get a Hatchery kill barely before the Overseer reaches it’s destination.
With Grooved Spines, a Spire and the previous dead Hatchery now on the way, the Zerg continues to patrol the map with around 50 Zerglings, looking for hidden expansions. With a huge amount of Mutalisks and Hydralisks now hatching, the game falls in to a passive mood as both players amass armies. The Protoss moves out to secure a 2nd expansion near the middle, as the Zerg’s creep spread slowly extends past the middle. Zerglings attempt to surround a few Stalkers in the middle twice and are successful, only to flee to fight another day. Mutalisks for Yellow dive in to the natural of Blue, killing some Probes but are quickly denied by Blink. As the Zerg attempts to expand to a southern position, the Protoss army moves to the middle of the map in an attempt to take out a Hatchery. During this though the Zerg stages a counter attack in the natural of Protoss, doing a lot of damage as the majority of the Protoss army flees to support.
Zerglings to the southern Hatchery try to surround the Protoss crack squad of Stalkers, however Blink allows the escape back to Blue’s expansion. A huge force of Stalkers with Blink now moves toward the southern Hatchery, taking it out as the Zerg goes for yet another counter attack in the Protoss 2nd expansion, killing the Nexus there. As the Protoss goes for the natural of the Zerg, the Zerg’s mobile army pushes in to the natural of Protoss as well. As the Hatchery falls, the Protoss Nexus is saved by good Force-fields and reinforcing Stalkers. As Stalkers in the main of the Zerg rip apart the infrastructure, the Zerg continues to try counter attack but it is unsuccessful, eventually forcing the Zerg to GG.

Golden VS Sleep
+ Show Spoiler +
04 - Game 1 - Dual Sight
Golden spawns at 2 while Blue spawns at 8. Both players go for an Extractor first followed by Spawning Pool, for almost identical builds going at the start of this Zerg-on-Zerg battle. Both players continue in mirror-like fashion as they produce their initial Queen, Zerglings and Zergling Speed. Both players grab their Baneling Nests while Sleep attempts to macro while poking up his opponents ramp with Zerglings, only to be denied by his opponent’s Lings. Golden is moving across the map with his force as Speed kicks in for both players. Morphing in Banelings, Golden begins to nibble at the expansion of Blue, however he is quickly denied by the opposing army. Sleep moves all his Zerglings toward hie teammate’s base, taking out the majority of his Drones, during which Golden attempts to breech the ramp of his opponent.
After killing off the Queens blocking the ramp, Golden pushes into Sleep’s main, taking out a few Drones with Zerglings and cleaning up the rest of the line with Banelings. Without an economy, Sleep resigns to the GG.
05 - Game 2 - Crossfire SE
Golden ends up spawning at 1 while Sleep spawns at 7. Both players go for the same builds we saw last game, Extractor into Spawning Pool into Queen/Zergling/Speed. As the players begin to tussle for map control mid-field with Zerglings, they both start Baneling Nests as their Speed finishes. Sleep morphs in a few Banelings to help defend the potential push from Golden. Meanwhile, Golden goes for a Roach Warren opposed to Sleep’s Lair. Both players continue their dance in front of the yellow base, with Banelings and Zerglings moving around looking for an opening. As Golden begins to wall off his ramp with Roaches, Sleep moves back to his base whilst investing in a Spire for some aerial dominance. Roaches continue to pour out for Golden as Sleep puts down 4 Spine Crawlers against the incoming push. Golden’s army pushes up Sleep’s ramp only to be greeted by a massive amount of Banelings, which obliterate everything in sight, forcing Golden to GG.
06 - Game 3 - Crevasse
Sleep, now wearing yellow, spawns at 5 while Golden in the red spawns at 7. In a slight deviation to the past two games, Golden goes for a Hatchery first while Sleep sticks to his bread-and-butter of Spawning Pool and Extractor first. Sleep follows up on his previous game plans, rushing Zerglings and Speed, and quickly sending them toward his opponent who shuts them down with his own Zerglings, hoping to be left alone with his new Roach Warren. Sleep expands and starts construction on a Baneling Nest, as Roach production begins in Golden’s base. Sleep now goes for his own Roach Warren while pumping mass Zerglings to accompany his already large herd at the bottom of Golden’s ramp. Both players begin to morph in their Lairs, as Goldenmoves out with his Roaches to deny the Zergling contain.
Golden begins Glial Reconstitution for his Roaches, as well as +1 attack. Sleeps commits to more Spine Crawlers after seeing the red Roaches move out. Sleep invests in a Spire, while Golden’s Roaches break down the rocks near the base of Yellow. As Golden pushes up the front ramp, Sleep’s Banelings morph in and crash into the Roaches, but Golden’s split troops absorbed little damage. Sleep is forced to pull off the majority of his Drones to clean up the well-microed Roaches.
With Mutalisks hatching, Sleep tries to restore a sense of normalcy in his base, while Golden during all of this has thrown down a second expansion and Hydralisk Den. More Roaches swing in to Sleep’s main, half of which focus down the Spire and the other half, the Drones. The Spire goes down, the Roaches continue to feast on Drones, and Sleep has no choice but to GG.

09 - Game 1 - Xel’Naga Caverns
Blue spawns at 1 while Yellow spawns at 7. Both players go for a standard opening as the Terran begins to expand behind 1 Barracks play. Blue on the other hand throws down a Proxy Pylon to the north for some potential early aggression. A Proxy Stargate is added on quickly for some early Void Ray pressure, while the Terran adds on 2 more Barracks. A lone Void Ray pops out, along with a second Proxy Pylon for the pressure to begin.
Behind this the Protoss goes for a Nexus whilst the light contain ensues in the south. With good control, the Protoss is allowed to snipe a few units with his force, as the Terran goes for a Factory. Blue throws down a Twilight Council and Forge whilst saturating his already running expansion. In a small lapse of mis-micro, the Void Ray falls to the Terran Marines, and the contain is all but broken, as a Starport now goes down for Yellow. Adding on more Barracks and Gateways, the Terran now secures his natural whilst the Protoss researches Charge and is in the economical lead. Blue gears up to take his Gold expansion, along with a Templar Archives, as the Terran pushes out to the middle of the map with his Marine/Medivac/Marauder force. With Psi Storm almost finished, the Terran player spots the Proxy Stargate and kills it quickly.
As the Protoss estabilishes his gold base, Yellow goes for a Ghost Academy after spotting the High Templar in Blue’s army. Blue sends in a Zealot to poke the natural of Terran, however after seeing 5 Bunkers decides not to commit to any kind of suicidal attack. 2 Robotics Facilities go down along with a Robotics Bay for the Protoss, whilst Terran attempts to expand again to keep up in the economical race. Despite the early contain, Yellow has kept up with macro and both players are level pegging going in to the later stages of the game, as the Terran now goes for his own Gold expansion. A small tussle in mid-field sees a lone storm land on the Biological forces of Terran, however both forces pull back from one another to fight another day. With a small section of his army, Yellow stims and attempts a Nexus snipe at the Protoss Gold. Feedbacks rain down on the Ghosts though and force the retreat of the Terran.
Now expanding to a 4th base, the Protoss continues Colossus production as the Terran neglects Vikings. The Protoss force, now maxed, pushes in to the Gold position of Yellow and drops great storms, doing huge damage to the Terran army, however the Stimmed Marines and Marauders somehow manage to come out victorious due to an impressive concave and group management skills.
Yellow now smelling blood in the water, goes for the counter. Pushing in to the gold of the Protoss and taking out the Nexus, the Terran retreats after taking heavy losses to a well placed Psi Storm onslaught. Both players fall in to a passive stance for a moment, as the Terran begins to create a few more Command Centers for potential expansions. As Yellow goes to break down his rocks for a 3rd expansion, the Protoss hits the Planetary Fortress at the Gold base in order to equal the odds, one gold base each falling. As the expansion falls, the Protoss retreats leaving a blanket of Storms in their wake, which the Bio forces of the Terran are more than happy to run through as they pursue the fleeing Alien race.
As the Protoss army re-bolsters it’s forces, the Terrans economy is lacking in comparison, and Blue decides to make one final push toward the newest expansion of Yellow. After taking out the Planetary Fortress and retreating, the Terran makes a last ditch effort to pull himself back in to the game. Despite laying down some good preliminary EMPs, the Protoss army is too much and Yellow GGs.
10 - Game 2 - Terminus SE
Blue spawns at 9 while Red spawns at 12. Blue goes straight for Nexus first while Red walls off and plays standard. Adding on a Gateway and Cybernetics Core, Blue begins to move out across the map with his initial Zealot, whilst a Command Center gets thrown down at the natural of Red, along with a few more Barracks. As the Marines of Red get pushed back, the Protoss gets a few free pot shots off on the Command Center briefly, before the Terran pushes the small force away with Marines and SCVs.
Protoss decides to throw down 5 more Gateways, for a potential 6 Gateway timing push, as the Terran player throws down Bunkers at his natural to secure his economy. Blue continues to poke around in the front of Red’s natural, grabbing one or two Marine kills as the Terran throws down a Factory. Blue begins to break down the back rocks of the Terran, opening up more avenues of attack, as Red throws down Bunkers at his back ramp in desperation for the potential push. As the Protoss pushes up the ramp the Bunkers just finish and fend off the Protoss attack. Behind this Blue is investing in a Twilight Council, as Medivac production begins for the Terran. Blue continues to look for a hole in the Terran defense, however is unsuccessful and decides to go home. With a Dark Shrine and hidden expansion in the South now going down for the Protoss, Terran stages a drop in the back of the Protoss main, killing the Twilight Council and Nexus, while forcing a cancel on the Dark Shrine.
Red now going for an Armory, Ghost Academy and another Command Center, moves across the map with his force as the Protoss goes for a Templar Archive and Zealot Charge. The Terran pushes in to the natural of Blue in an attempt to do crippling damage, managing to kill the natural Nexus of the Protoss while Blue researches Psi Storm. During all this, Red spots the hidden expansion in the south and takes that out in quick fashion, then falls back.
Now almost doubling the army supply of the Protoss, the Terran goes for another expansion whilst Blue moves out across the map at the same time as attempting to re-expand. As the Protoss look for some retribution to the massive damage they’ve encurred, Blue pushes in to the natural and litters the defensive position with storms, however the Terran force is too great, eventually pushing back the Protoss army. Terran with a 100 supply lead goes for the killing blow and grabs the GG, tieing the series 1:1.
11 - Game 3 - Dual Sight
Blue spawns at 8 while Yellow spawns at 2. Both players go for standard builds as the Terran goes for the 1 Barracks expand. As the Terran goes for a few more Barracks, Protoss goes for 3 more Gateways for a 4 gate pressure. As the Protoss begins to push up the ramp of Terran with his 4 Gateway pressure, a Bunker just finishes which is enough to hold off the push despite SCVs coming off the line to help. Protoss is forced to retreat as the Terran secures his expansion, while Blue attempts to go for a Twilight Council.
In slight desperation, the Protoss goes for an expansion to the northern Gold, as the Terran goes for a Factory in his main. In a feat of fantastic scouting, Yellow manages to scout the northern gold of Protoss and deny it, as Blue attempts to expand to the southern Gold at the same time. A Dark Shrine now goes down as the Terran adds a few Reactors to his structures. With a Starport and extra Barracks now on the way for Terran, Blue sends in some Dark Templar to the back of the Terran natural. The Dark Templars walk in to the main and eventually get shut down by Scans without doing much damage at all. Yellow now pushes to the southern Gold and takes it out, quickly followed by pushing in to the natural of the Protoss, eliminating it and securing the GG.
