probably the latter combined with insane practice hours (if you read the thread...?)

This is really sad news, he's so talented and dedicated, to have it taken away... From what everyone is saying about tendinitis is there really no hope for flash?
|
Do they really expect an injury that was probably built up for years to be healed in a "short period of time"?
Hope Flash makes the right decision for his future.

Seriously? I know some people get excited in the shower, but actually going so fast that you break your wrist is worthy of some kind of world record.
LOLOLOL
Really though, how did he break it in the shower? damn, i knew he fell or something iirc, but in a shower? <_>
at least iloveoov had a good run before the injury, and a long one at that (got bonjwa status :D)

IIRC he retired because of the fact that he slipped while taking a shower and his wrist got cut really bad

Hope Flash makes the right decision for his future. No, because the article said that he is going through intensive care for a short period of time, not to be healed quickly. Of course they don't expect to.

Slip and fall accidents are really serious. You can get messed up pretty badly from falling wrong. Humans are really top heavy and men especially (iloveoov ESPECIALLY) carry a lot of muscle-mass above their center of gravity.

KT Rolster's Flash is currently receiving intensive care for his right arm. The hospital that he went to diagnosed that Flash's right shoulder's ligaments were damaged, and that his forearm and wrist's muscles had bunched up together. After Flash's diagnosis results came out, KT Rolster decided to receive intensive care from JDI sports rehabilitation specialized hospital. JDI is a famous professional health care corporation that specializes in treating injuries sustained by sports players in the knee, shoulder, and back areas. Although Flash is in a situation where long term treatment is necessary for him, because he must participate in the Proleague regular season and post season along with the individual leagues immediately, he will be receiving intensive care for a short period of time. KT has chosen what the medical industry calls a proactive treatment therapy method, and Flash was seen on the 25th at the game stadium with taping on his right arm. KT's manager Lee Ji Hoon stated, "If we exclude Flash's schedule during the Proleague regular season, he has time reserved for concentrating on treatment," and, "We'll see how the treatment goes and see whether or not if we'll send him out in Proleague." Source: http://esports.dailygame.co.kr/news/read.php?id=46166So it looks like we'll seeing a lot less of Flash in Proleague... Which is a good thing for the sake of his health.

Guess that comes from playing like the flash. Wishing him well though, but I hope he doesn't take his injury lightly.
|
While yes, practice is important, I think it's worth having him get a little worse from not practicing everyday and instead go in for long-term treatment; otherwise this could really ruin his life.
|
He'll be back. The machine just needs some oiling
|
He needs to stop playing intensively now if he cares about his future.

Nerve damage in these cases are caused by tendons inflaming and then compressing the nerves that run along or in between those tendons. So in many cases you can infer that tendon inflammation = nerve damage.

Well if I was flash, I would take it easier with practice because what he's been doing (practicing until wrists feel like falling off) is career-ending. He should know that too much stress does more harm than good even in his out-of-game life.

this is so sad. I hope for a miracle so that Flash would heal. This is not the way JD supposed to get the #1 spot.
|
Please recover quickly Flash. Wish you all the best !

Guess that's what happens, if you spend your whole life in front of a monitor playing a game.
