The only thing is those fucked up release dates but hey thats what vpns (or warez) are for . www.ibvpn.com offers a 2 hour trail which is more then enough to start up the game . You can disable it as soon as borderlands is running but i dont know if multiplayer is working that way . Valve should be fine with that as long as you dont abuse a vpn to buy stuff . But i cant guarantee that.

The first one was an empty, barren and lonely world if you tried to solo, so wasn't a great experience. I heard the 2nd one fixes it a little, but it's still infinitely more fun playing with friends.

So should I buy this game only for its single player because I have to travel somewhere soon and it doesn't have internet there.

Not sure if something went wrong or if it is intended. Is there a part where I can skip ahead? From what I've read/heard there should be some prompt that asks you if you want to skip content/quests you've finished in a previous co-op game. I have not tried it myself though so I don't know how obvious they make this option.
