Leading the league in points right now and second in goals, wouldn't be shocked to see him win the Hart.

Marty had an on/off night in goal, and the Devils' Kurtis Foster proved once again that he's an incompetent pylon on the blueline. The Devils got a break on a dumpin that hit a stancheon and bounced right in front to Clarkson who beat Biron cleanly. Kovalchuk notched the lone shootout goal, to go 8 for 9 on the season in his shootout attempts. Those boards at the Rock bounce just like the Devils checks these days. Lame.

Gagner is in some elite company, only thirteen players have scored 8 points in one night... ever. He also tied a record with Paul Coffee and Wayne Gretzky for points registered as an Oiler. That was a dayum good hockey game. <3 Gagner.

If I'm not mistaken, only 11 players have scored 8 points but Gretzky and Lemieux did it twice wich means it happened 13 times.

I think it is also cool, Gagner is now one of only three players to ever be all three stars in a game along with Gretzky and Richard. This was a special night.

Really amazing performance though. He was not even born when this happened last time! RNH had 5 points last time the Oilers played the Blackhawks right? They really have their numbers it seems.

I hope the GM buys Sutter or Webber (or both if we got room) in the off season. I don't care what we do with our pick.
