I am excited as a fan to get back to some type of prostyle offense with top flight qb's.
also lol@the secondary It was not the best performance by Garnder, but he was under duress from most of the game. The only person on Michigan's oline that showed up to play was Lewan. Really they moved the ball pretty good and South Carolina has a good to great defense. The defensive performance was far more disappointing to me than the offensive one, South Carolina isn't that good offensively and Michigan constantly got burned for big plays.

I agree with that. I just think Devin's inaccuracy is a drive killer (he shit the bed big time in the OSU game). I understand he was basically thrust into the situation this year so im not expecting him to be a world beater or anything. I just hope he improves next year from an accuracy standpoint. That was the most frustrating thing about denard, he didnt seem to get better throwing the ball year to year at all.

Can't say I was too disappointed with Michigan's offense today. The gameplan was far better than what they had against OSU (which wtf, but whatever). This Oline hasn't been good all year outside of Lewan, which was known for a while. Gardner alternates fantastic throws with some bad ones. Overall pretty much everyone on offense performed at or above the level I would expect from them, and putting up 28 (30 with extra points) against SC's defense is pretty darn solid.
Defense is where the real letdown was. I mean, I know that Floyd was out, but our coverage was horrific. Even when we only sent three there was terrible coverage. I would have to watch closer to see what went wrong, but that was pretty disappointing from a unit that has been solid (if not particularly talented) all year.
Still, I am more optimistic about next year than I was earlier in the season. If Gardner smooths out his accuracy (not a guarantee) and the redshirted lineman are as good as I have heard from the practice buzz, I think we could have a pretty solid team next year. Certainly good enough to challenge for the big ten title.

So no one's talking about the upset alert at the Sugar Bowl? I would have thought that this was everyone's chance to talk smack about the SEC.

I don't even know what to say.
It's one thing to say the SEC is overrated, but it's not so overrated as to make a Big East team look good.

Louisville to the ACC is even more exciting now :D. ACC Atlantic will have Clemson, FSU, and Louisville. Dont see the coastal doing much in the immediate future

I'm actually here to just say: LOLOLRIDA.
In all seriousness, it is over rated. Had Notre Dame not gone undefeated, this team would have been in the NCG. Yes. This team.

And that's why the BCS is so great.
Teddy Bridgewater is only a sophomore? Can't wait to watch this guy next season.

It's more like Florida has a tendency to not show up to games, like they did vs Missouri, LA Lafayette and part of Jacksonville State.
Part of why margin of victory up to like 3TDs should be counted for something, because beating Missouri by only a TD means something is wrong.
This line play has just been pathetic.

How much will UL jump and how much will UF fall?

I mean who runs a QB sneak from the 3? Not even a designed run or something. Even Tom Brady isn't going to get you 3 yards on a sneak.
GG Louiseville.

I didn't expect UF offense to show up cause they don't really have one. But what happened to their defense? I thought USC loss to GT was an embarrassment to the pac-12 but LSu/Florida? Sheesh.

LSU-Clemson was a bit more understandable because we all know Boyd is dangerous, and Les Miles' clock management is possibly the worst in the FCS.
This though... sheesh. Plus the 9 penalties for like 100 yards. D:
This is what happens when you let Tebow on your sideline. You turn into the Jets.

ACC went 4-2 in the bowl season, future ACC teams Syracuse and Louisville both won, and Pitt has a decent shot against Ole Miss as another future ACC team. Things could be on the rise

Clemson, Virginia Tech, FSU, and Georgia Tech all won their Bowl Games for the ACC, and now Louisville wins? Feeling good for the future.
