Can't wait for PC release to not longer tilt at loading times. :3 Think I saw a reddit post claim one of the patches will help alleviate some of the load times. I'm hoping that's the case as I'm sticking with PS3 edition. Apparently XB360 users can just install the disc and have fewer issues, and PC is the master race so =[
I've been farming for the Mad Warrior set on my sorcererer because lol why not. I started with 60k souls before entering the zone, and I'm at 210k or so now (the npcs have been long dead) for what feels like about 8 hours and have just completed the set. One more sword for a pair.... hopefully it'll drop.

I was so pissed when I realized that people who just bought it via the PSN online shop thingy also have the whole thing on their drives and are fine. By buying the thing on DVD I just royally screwed myself.
Farming things from Black Phantoms is such a pain. gl dude. :3

I was going to get a second blade but I am decided against it; other stuff needs to be done so I can start NG+ including buying out the vendors' remaining stock, stocking up on some upgrade mats and healing / spell restoration items, etc. I'm aiming to be a sunbro for NG+ because I'm hearing there aren't a lot of summon signs around.

Oh man those PC framerates. If you watch it via Giantbomb's player you can see the 60FPS is pretty damn good looking. Those solid framerates are what I am looking for in a PC version.
The graphics aren't much of an upgrade but I never expected much more, sadly. Still though, less load times and a solid 60FPS is probably worth it.

I find it very interesting (or sad) when looking at some forums (steam) that people are asking for refunds because of graphics... when those people are probably the same to whine that today games are only about graphics without any soul (pun intended).
In all fairness I'll agree that releasing a trailer with full on effects and then downgrading for release is pretty shady, but still.

Yeah I really wanted to play that awesome graphics ver. It looks so amazing and I'm pissed they teased us, but I'm not crying and asking for refunds haha.

Anyway I paid 23Euros for it, so even if it had PS3 graphics it's a better deal worth a month of wait.
On other notes the game will be patched to 1.04 that contain some nerfs to a couple bosses and to an area (I don't exactly know which one since I havent played it yet and avoid spoilers). It seems to also nerf magic users.

I take 60 FPS over high graphics any day. The engine probably cant handle higher settings well enough.
Anyways, you can cancel a steam preoder for free at any time, so this "false advertisemnt" crying is useless, everyone can cancel. Or not preorder games, like i stopped doing years ago, i avoided quite a few disaster games.

The nerfs to one boss in particular could be pretty big because it was one that a lot of people had difficulty with. Still not DS1 O+S level though.

I hope its not too easy, but I heared NG+ is much better in DS2. That could be much more of a Challenge then in DS1.

in DS1 NG+ really only changed the HP and damage of the enemies in DS2 it changes the whole game, more or less. You get new enemies, the boss fights change and other stuff

Yes on G2A. It's currently 29Euros there, prices have a tendency to fluctuate.
I know some people have usually cold feet buying on "shaddy" web sites selling at 50% but I personally never had a problem with them... always getting my keys fast or on release day (for preorder deals). And in my current financial situation, 50% on games is a very nice deal. Even if I end up one day not receiving my key for some reason, I would still have saved money overall. And you can pay with Paypal.
My guess is that they can afford low price for possible reasons: -They only get keys. There's no cost for stock or distribution for them. Compared to steam which has to distribute the game digitally and therefore needs to pay for servers etc. G2A delivers you a key that you simply add on steam and then you download through steam. -They don't have the reputation of Steam or GMG, to compete they have to propose lower prices or looking at it the other way Steam knows that they benefit from people trust and therefore isn't afraid to have higher prices. -The fact that they are based in Poland may get them better deal.

thanks. Yeah I also buy from those sites from time to time and never had a problem. I wonder, will PC be able to connect to console's worlds ?

Obviously not, but it would be funny to own the Console-Peasants o_0

Well it's not a FPS where a mouse will own a pad, I don't understand your answer :o

in fact I find playing with keyboard and mouse to be quite inefficient compared to my controller.
