I have a good friend that has an issue with styrofoam. He also absolutely hates popcorn and can't stand listening to people eat it. Also avoids anything involving tinfoil and he will unconsciously strike anyone who touches his ears :/

Bugs. I'll go man mode if there's a lady-friend around but other than that I freak out looking for someone ELSE'S shoe to kill it with.

I've always been a bit neophobic with regards to food, ever since I was young. While I can tell you that there's a particular food that I want to try, when it's right in front of me, I suddenly become super anxious. It's led to a lot of embarrassing social situations; dinner parties can be particularly stressful. It's totally irrational on my end and not always the easiest thing to deal with. But I always find solace knowing that we all have our faults, some more visible than others.
I'm definitely working at it and getting better about trying new food, and I've tried enough food so that I manage to live a fairly healthy lifestyle (it could be a lot worse), but there's still a lot of room for improvement.

Watching someone bend fingers at the joints backwards even the slightest makes me freak out out big time, It was always like that for me, pretty annoying, only thing worst is if I see my own fingers bend backwards...
When I say freak out I mean feel horrible in body and head to point of vomiting .

You should really spoiler images like that. However, it's safe to say you do not have arachnophobia, because if you did, there is no way you could look up that image and post it here.

I have a reverse fear of heights. I cannot look up at tall buildings/roofs, I will always think that somehow gravity will reverse and I'll fall to it...
I have no problems looking down from tall buildings though.

I have got one, have no idea how normal it is though, haven't done any research.
Whenever I touch my own penis (I think it is called masterbaiting?) for longer periods of time I get this weird sensation and I get spasms all over my body. Then I pee myself, but it's normal pee its like this weird sticky pee.
I think this might be some kind of human contact phobia because I am not that good around other people and my brain for some reason thinks me touching my penis is someone else.

Trust me, this phobia sucks so bad, when I look up at tall buildings, i need to squat down and look down for a few moments. Also, I cannot enter a stadium due to this fear =.=
Anything above 6 floors will trigger this phobia of mine. Imagine living with this in today's world =.=

Done, i cant look or be anywhere near a real life spider although i am 100% fine with images cartoons games etc. Anything in the flesh and i will roll you over to get away. I am somewhat improving in i can kill the tiny whispy buggers now, but they have to be really whispy, like the "dot" with 8 hairs coming out of it, if it resembles a proper spider i'll run no matter the size.

i cant swim in water that i cant see trough to the ground. Which is a bit funny because i am a club swimmer for 20 years and swam competitively.
I am also terrified of needles used to drain blood and i get sick just thinking about it. 2 weeks ago i had to get blood tested in a lab and i was sick like 2 days before they drained it just thinking about it. But when they actually did it, i was totally fine by just looking the very opposite direction so i cant see anything.
Didnt ease my phobia in the slightest, though. Still getting sick just walking by a blood donation bus.

I think I have trypophobia but it isn't really fear, more like disgust.
Every time I see small holes clustered together, I have to look away or I get so irritated that I wanna just rip it apart. I wanna just mash the tiny holes together. It makes my skin crawl and I get so annoyed.
Would this be considered a phobia then?

Atelophobia was metionned before. I was under the impression it was pretty common at least to some degree. Nothing ever seems worth it. I start doing something, realize I'll never become perfect or do as good as I want to, and rather than being constantly dissatisfied I stop doing that thing. It's not too bad you just have to not care about what you spend most of your time doing. Doesn't make it easy picking a masters though, since there's no topic I'll enjoy enough or be good enough at. Just got to keep working I guess~

I have two stupid phobias
1) Bottles' caps. I mean the ones for the sparkling wines, which come out with a bang and fly across the room. Everytime that someone's opening one ( New Year's Eve is a nightmare) I have to find cover until I hear the 'bop'. Also, last year I almost got hit in the eye by a cap and it increased this phobia even more!
2) Ballons. When they are around, I'm super nervous that they are going to burst and if they do I just jump in fear. Brr. Children's parties are a nightmare.

lol i have no idea why i'm writing this, but I have a couple fears, although one might not be considered bizarre or abnormal. The first is that I'm horribly afraid of talking to girls, I'm so afraid of saying something stupid or looking at their chest or do something really bad. I'm honestly getting a faster heart rate and beginning to sweat just typing it lol. For this reason I don't ever talk to girls and well being in high school that kinda fucking sucks. The second one kind of goes with that but not really. Like most guys my age I have as many strange sex fantasies as the next guy, nothing unusual or super frequent, but I'm actually horribly afraid of actually having sex with people. Instead of getting horny I actually get kind of anxious thinking about sex lol. It's like I'm afraid that I would get her pregnant or just be really bad at it or get an STD or get caught or something like that but all mixed in one. Should I talk to someone about this? lol

Birds. I am deathly afraid of any kind of bird. Walking downtown is the absolute worst. Those damn pigeons just stroll around darting in between everyone's feet. As soon as I see any kind of bird, my eyes are glued to it. I have to know what they are doing at all times around me.
I know it's irrational, I know that they will do nothing to me. I mean if I accidentally come too close to a pigeon it just shuffles out of the way. But man alive, they still petrify me.
