Dead Airman's Affidavit: Roswell Aliens Were Real Foxnews link
+ Show Spoiler +
But last week came an astonishing new twist to the Roswell mystery.
Lt. Walter Haut was the public-relations officer at the base in 1947 and was the man who issued the original and subsequent press releases after the crash on the orders of the base commander, Col. William Blanchard.
Haut died in December 2005, but left a sworn affidavit to be opened only after his death.
Last week, the text was released. It asserts that the weather-balloon claim was a cover story and that the real object had been recovered by the military and stored in a hangar.
He described seeing not just the craft, but alien bodies.
Interesting. I don't see much motive for him to do this after his death... but who knows. How did it get released, though? I'd think the government would clamp down on it. But still, maybe it was a freakin' transformer? Megatron?
If he did this just to add drama and mystery to it all, what a jokester.

Everything? I have no idea what you mean by that.
In my experience they only pretend to hide things from us to stop us from getting mad.

Ah damn. After so many years, some dead guy brings it back up again.
DAMNIT! Here come the waves of Roswell and anything related to aliens movies.

Well la di da. I think he's a jokester. If the US goverment saw this guy as a threat they would most likely stop him before this was released to the press.

Unless they want you to follow exactly that train of thought...
His motive for having these released after his death could be to show that he had no other intention that to reveal the truth.
Unless he's tricky and only wanted us to think that...

Sweet... now time for the government to spill out the truth ? :D

PS: If you do not forward this to 5 people ASAP Aliens will come to you in the night and steal your soulz!!

My soul already belongs to the Devil. I would like to see the aliens do smth about it.

I am a freak I tell all that I saw aliens and I have proofs. then I go make suicide and everyone thinks government setup my suicide that really they eliminated me. Government denies that there is not aliens but everyone just pushes it to tell the "truth".

If this was true it probably wouldn't be on fox news first.

This reminds me of that "home movie" UPN(or w/e network) aired a "suspected" footage of an alien abduction of a family party, scared the shit out of me, but then I relaized one of the family members was an actor on Nikelodeon(sp?).
But who cares, anyone can stir up shit before they die and have it discussed years after.

Would be cool if it was true tho

The government can never keep secrets, especially not this big. I guarantee it would have gotten out sooner than this. Plus what the hell is the motivation for keeping this secret? The only thing I can see is to keep the technology secret but I just don't see this happening, that's a huge dick move though, especially since the cold war is over.
Anyone remember that space is fucking huge? There's no way actual aliens have visited earth. Maybe tiny nano robots if they are that advanced but space is fucking big. This guy's motivation is to be a dick.
edit- Also it's been like 60 years so the US has obviously not gotten any useful technology out of it. I just don't really see the motivation for keeping it secret and even if they were trying to I just can't see it staying a secret. Some guy would tell his wife and his wife would tell someone, etc. There's just no way a secret like this can be kept, I'd say it's impossible even.

i really wish there was aliens. it could be like STAR WARS, omgggggggg. id be a badass space pirate

I would also like to say that it's ridiculous to think that an alien race advanced enough to actually fly a fucking spaceship through outer space to another planet with life would actually crash onto that planet.

and visits that planet for no apparent reason

We fly unmanned probes to other planets and we never even crash them. I'm pretty sure a manned alien ship wouldn't crash. It's hilarious how many people actually believe this slop.
