Game 2 of Quantic was also pretty good, if you like the more 'no mistakes were made' games as opposed to the crazy kill mayhems

In their favor, they dominated compLexity in their promotion series.
However, I take this with a grain of salt because they dominated compLexity in their promotion series. hahaha, well said. I'm not brash enough to claim QTC is going to dethrone TSM but damn if I'm not excited for that specific match up in the Summer Split. I will make the prediction that they're a team with Top 4 potential. 1. TSM 2. Dig 3. Quantic 4. Vulcun 5. Curse 6. CLG 7. GGU 8. VeS Is going to be my prediction for this season. Top 3 and bottom 5 will be split (think Fnatic/GG and the LPL) I find it interesting that you feel dig and recover but Curse won't. Obviously a non-believer
Jokes aside, I really am interested to see if Curse and dig can get their shit together. both had such disappointing ends to the season.

Well at least I know I dont really care about any of the NA teams in particular. The development of the scene as a whole is somewhat interesting to me.
Regarding the ranking there, it seems quite random to me. I cant imagine at all that CLG will do as bad or even worse than during the first split. Last split should have been a wakeup call for CLG. And the competition is not that strong. I can easily see CLG making top 2 if they care enough. Of course it also depends on what happens to Crs, Dig etc. They were somewhat in a slump. Will they pull themselves together? Will they will have roster changes? Its all very difficult to predict.

Well Quantic is really good anyway lol.

Quantic gonna be most overhyped team of Summer split because of how hard they stomped the absolute worst LCS team and the absolute worst amateur team.
Even Quantic has said they feel they're at the very bottom of the pack right now and have a lot of catching up to do.

I expect them to be like a lot of the lower teams from spring. Have a rough / average start, pick-up later.

Even Quantic has said they feel they're at the very bottom of the pack right now and have a lot of catching up to do. There were also interviews that they were beating a lot of LCS teams in scrims. I know LAN is a different beast, but they are still better than coL so it's an improvement :p

Well in every interview every team has a 90% winrate in scrims so I don't really consider that to be very huge. I know that TSM and CLG have said Quantic is scary in scrims but even if Quantic is strong at the start they're unlikely to have the depth that teams like CLG/TSM/Dig have or even GGU/Vulcun have so it'd just take 2-3 weeks for teams to figure out how to shut Quantic down.
That's what happened to CLG. And Curse. So even if Quantic starts strong teams will just figure them out and it's unlikely they have the depth, at least early in the season, to adapt very quickly from their current play style if things go wrong. Other than Hai and maybe Meteos they don't just have the raw talent to out perform players in other roles (and honestly there are problem quite a few AP mids that are better than Hai in the LCS and at least four junglers that are likely better than Meteos right now).
Just seems silly that someone is giving them a #3 spot in their LCS predictions. You'd be crazy to bet money on them finishing anything higher than 5th in their first LCS split. I concede that I might end up eating my words but I expect them to get beat hard their first few weeks and if they do well early on I expect them to crash and burn way harder than Curse or Dig did. Maybe they'll prove me wrong though and I'd be willing to agree that as the season goes on I'm sure they'll become a stronger and stronger team.
I think they'll be really scary if they stay in during Season 4 Spring split but they'll likely finish in the bottom half of the Summer split.

Oh yeah, I don't think they are as good as some people are making them out to be mostly due to lack of experience. That said I could see them sneaking into 4th place if they adapt well, not entirely likely but I could see it.

RIGHT NOW:
1. tsm 2. ggu 3. clg 4. dig 5. quantic 6. curse 7. vulcun 8. ves
by season's start? who knows. by season's end? anyone's game
clg finally turned on the afterburners and kicked it into high gear but zion/mashme/nintendude is still potent enough to call for a #2 spot. curse only placed so low because of lack of practice/synergy with rhux, will probably shoot up within a few weeks. vulcun impressed during the playoffs but i feel like all the heavy hitters will really come out hard once the second half starts - i mean worlds are on the line here

BTW gtr, I thought you were a retard the way you handled the deezer thing, but everything you have done since then is fantastic and I hope more managers look after their team like you do.

thanks a lot. i got put in a tight spot with the 1g1d thing and i made a REALLY bad crunch-time decision. i am often way too proud and i talk a bit much, but i do try to work really hard to make things as easy and as fluid as i can for my guys. their success is my success. as long as i keep learning from my mistakes and help my team limit theirs, i hope velocity keeps rising

About Quantic being overrated:
Dont forget they have quite a nice margin to work with coming from the promotions. I mean if your jungler doenst die ever, you have some stretch in that before you start losing. And dont forget Quantic will also grow in the LCS, every team gets better as the weeks progress. (Apart from DB in EU)
