holy shit you said hipster picks....... Mineski/GamingGearsEU/GammaBears are all super underdogs. RoyalClub Huang Zu and LemonDogs are two really decent teams that no one seems to be rooting for.

They are in group b, and don't really get much love. Vulcun because they have a serious weakness in their bot lane. Mineski because not much is known about them, and the LPL Finals weren't the most exciting/highest level of play.

OMG are just solid. Their play style are like the Bullets with their great objective control, fast pushing and they can rely on their fundamentals to simply beat weaker teams. They also have Cool, an amazing mid laner who can stack up better with Faker, nukeduck, Regi, etc. than White, who would either look like a god, or he would start slow and become fodder by the time mid-game rolled along. Not saying OMG are going to go all the way, as I think SKT are better than them and will probably 2-0 them, but they're the most intriguing team for me in the group stages. There is a lot of hype around Cool, White even saying he is at the same level as Faker, so I want to see what happens when they go up against each other for the first time. Neither Faker or Cool have international experience, so there will be no "veteran edge" when they meet. Cool/Faker is the most intriguing match in terms of if Cool is the real deal/a potential mega star. Faker/Regi is the most intriguing match in terms of if you want to see Reginald sent to Dumpsterland and have a 20,000 comment thread on Reddit about how badly he got killed.

I think it's partially cause they feel people are over hyping them, partially cause people give TSM no chance, and partially cause it's TSM and that's what they do. Most people really want to see Regi put up or shut up. Or just see Faker dump all over Regi's face. TSM talking shit on SKT? wtf? any sources? It shows, that they have a strange view at the balance of power.

Feel bad for him tho cause people want to rag on him now for his alleged "trash talk" when it was just an offhanded joking comment. Still anti TSM fan in me is strong. Will be great. Regi makes the hype by being the bad guy. Id much rather him actually be a formidable team and create hype that way though.

Also I'm thankful to all the loyal supporters of each region. Would be boring if everyone expected the same result. Fandom is great because of fans vs fans.

Fuck these times for EU. Sunday is OK but Monday is terrible and I hate watching VODs because League without LR is just half the fun.

Regi's for sure not bronzie. He's definitely one of the best players in NA, and for a team to be consistently up there in rankings for such a long period of time requires a strong leader, and that's what Regi is. Ofcourse its not like his team can't to any better if he changed somethings, but I definitely give props to that guy for making the NA scene actually interesting and not completely pitiful like in other esports. You can read what Zuna was trying to do with the flash in that direction so he can net over the wall, but, if he tried to at least flash a little bit more to the right it would have been perfect lol.I don't think this comes any worse than bitfat's lee escape attempt haha.
