Just a thought . no way the team can touch his stream revenue nor do they ahve any reason to plus its bad PR if a palyer comes out and saids EG steals there stream money EG has tons of big hitting sponsors, they dont have to take a cut from the palyers the only teams that take a cut are the korean teams that need it to stay afloat
The kid is getting 100K a year and you think the community would destroy EG if they heard they take his stream money? Either way, I assure you they are taking something. It is NOT just Korean teams that take money from players; at least percentages.

Not to mention it's a freaking contract. The guy either signs it or he doesn't. If they're taking his stream money it's because Stephano wants them to because it's the best deal for him.
Logic...

and yes the community would rip EG apart for this witch hunt is our specialty unfortunatley look at waht we did to Orb

Hmmm, I thought he would be making more money. Still a very nice salary though. This means HuK's rumoured "six figure" salary is false.

if anythin HuK is the better investment expecially considering some of stephanos actions

I can confirm that many teams take a cut of some money from players in some form, although it depends heavily on the team.
If I had to guess, EG takes none of their team's money, but I could be wrong.

There's no way that salary can be true, can it? I wouldn't believe it if someone told me $4000 a month.
|
Wow, that's a pretty big salary if it's true. Congratulations on EG, Stephano!
|
He must make around that much per month from streaming alone when he streams a lot. Good for him.
|
wow eg has money to blow, wonder how many korean players (or even teams lol) you could support with their sc2 budget
|
Well, everyone saw that coming. LOL!

Do you have any evidence at all to support the claim, or are you just assuming?

If EG buys enough players, they might win something finally.

well since 8k per month works out to 96k per year its not really hard to imagine that huk made 9k per month which would bring him over the 100k line and thus a 6 figure salary. Because a 6 figure salary means that in a year you earn over 100k, not per month.

Granted, it was in a hypothetical context...but it's a number he's stated 2 or 3 times, so it's probably a good ballpark of his contract.

Don't wanna be a hater but I hope he just gets worse so much he wont be able to compete with koreans anymore, just to prove the EG curse true.

Is there a reason you are making an official thread titled Stephano joins EG? Isn't it disrespectful to EG as a team.. how about you let them make the official announcement first then you can go ahead and make such a thread titled like this.

I realize that. What I'm saying is that Stephano is (most likely) the highest paid player on EG right now, and therefore HuK isn't making six figures.

Keep a secret poorly; secret gets out, and people get to know. Although I don't think EG really ever tried to hide it, and I think it's pretty obvious that this has been in the works ever since Stephano stayed at the EG lair before an MLG a while ago. At the very least that's what everyone I ever talked with just assumed.
