Anyone have info about SEA concerning the linking? Can't SEA players already play on NA anyway? We could, with half a second clicking delay. That and we have to handle good old American bm.
Point is, we can't play our SEA accounts after bed time. I go to my NA account to play custom games cause there are way more games, and because the delay won't kill me.
I would support a link between SEA and CN, and I'm sure China won't mind more people either. The language barrier won't be as bad as TW-KR anyway, at least there are a lot of Chinese readers in SEA.

KR+TW are now officially linked

I really hope the merge with the russian server doesn't bring too many hackers, i quit cs because of cheaters and don't want to quit sc2 because of them aswell >.>

I hope this goes smoothly. If it does, and Blizzard sees positive results, I think a global linking could definitely be possible in the future. I'm pretty excited to start seeing LA people on the ladder

Because here in LA/NA server we already could chat together since patch 1.2, but we still can't play together.

This is really dumb. We get LA? I'm sorry but even people from LA admit the mass brasilian hackers are dominant. Source : Dota and life

Source : Dota and life I see so many posts from Na players complaining about drop hackers and map hackers, but I have never seen one in the LA servers. Also, the NA server is famous for stupid all-ins, so I'm afraid that we will have to join your people.
No, but seriously, does anyone from the LA server managed to download the English version? I have both clients here, but it says that I need a language pack to use the NA client, even tho the regions are already merged. <_< (Client relocalization is not an option)

Can you connect to KR server with KR client with TW acc lol?

If you go to bnet's grandmaster ladder page, they've renamed the servers due to the region linking.
http://us.battle.net/sc2/en/ladder/grandmaster
Americas, Europe, Far East Asia, South East Asia, China
So I guess we should start abbreviating the servers as AM, EU, FEA, SEA and CN?

My Taiwanese account was COMPLETELY reset with the merge. I played against Gold leaguers in my placements and 5-0'd into Diamond league. What happened to my GrandMaster MMR? I mean, sure Gold League in Korea is like Diamond/low Master NA, but... =_=

Your MMR was reset indeed. Mine was reset as well, but I didn't play my 5 placement matches yet.
Also, keep in mind that no one was placed at GM league, GM league will open on Aug/9th, so you have this time to prove to the system that you deserve the spot once again
Also, our MMR has been reset for that exact reason that you said, GM in TW might be diamond in KR, so they had to reset our MMR...

I feel the number of russians on EU is now really significant. I haven't played a boatload of games (even of a small boat), but it seems about half of the people are Russian (they often chat a little, or you can guess from the nick, I also do have a Slavic nick, so they are usually curious whether I am Russain).
I really do not want to offend anyone, but from the limited sample I have seen, it seems to me that their level is a little lower. I am Plat and most of my oponnets are Plat as well, but the russian ones seem quite easy to beat. Maybe the MMRs of the servers were not totally compatible? I guess it will even out soon.
