This is not an effort to get players to sc2. FOX already had sc2 players (who are also affected by this). "not pulling out of eports for good" well, that's exactly what WeMade FOX (or their sponsors rather) just did.

"that it means they are switching over to newer games" but they're not... "and not pulling out of eports for good" but that's exactly what they did. "lets all hope" sure, let's hope, but not for what you just mentioned.

He's not saying he hopes that this keeps happening, but that IF it keeps happening, he's hoping that they're switching to newer games rather than just stopping completely. Ideally, he'd rather it not happen at all.

One can only hope that some other organization some to the rescue with a sponsorship. And even if that happens I personally don't hope any of the players switch games against their will. Edit: lol, I think I finally understood it right. So if this trend continues for organizations in the future, you would rather they go on to newer games instead of totally disbanding, right? Well, that doesn't sound as bad then.. I still partially disagree though; I don't want entire teams or even single players to switch to a different game against their will. (kinda like I already mentioned in the post below) Your post is also flawed in the sense that FOX already had an sc2 team - and I don't think this in any way is game specific - bw is doing pretty damn well in South Korea.

and I don't think there's much hope of Korean Air sponsoring a team when the league itself is dying in front of their eyes. This plus rumors of MBC could be the end of the proleague ((((((
