any news on the protoss campaign?

Just a question, how come that you're able to build medics in the campaign? Afaik, the medics got introduced in BW :S

If you read the site where you downloaded it, you would have noticed this:
"Artistic License"
(some notable differences from the original campaign)
Medics! There were no medics in the original campaign, but where's the fun in that? Your marines need 'em Kerrigan has the snipe ability (along with the original ghost abilities) because it's just too cool Mission 4 "The Jacobs Installation" - you'll see Difficulty level should be harder and actually keep you busy towards the end. Don't worry, I've tested it and I'm not that great. The final maps should give you a decent challenge though.

Really loved the first two remakes, will play episode 3 for sure, but I think I'll wait until all the missions are ready, otherwise I know I'll just be annoyed waiting for the rest when I'm halfway done

Any word on how to get this to work on a Mac? I can create the maps folder etc. etc., I just can't load maps with starcraft II.
|
it works fine on a Mac; just right click the map file and "open with" starcraft II. Loading the first mission for each campaign allows to play through the whole thing -- or alternately, you can load any mission you want this way.

If it were up to me I'd keep it as vanilla SC as possible. Remake is nice and all, but then Blizzard can't offer to buy the modules off of the creator for profit because since it's more than just a HD remake now.

Except on my system Starcraft II is grayed out as an option to open. In the Starcraft Folder, only the map editor is available to open it. I don't know if this has to do with the settings in the editor, but I have never opened it before.

Hmm. Have you tried to put the option "all applications" when browsing for Starcraft II instead of just "recommended applications" ? It's effectively greyed out if you selected the latter.
|
I recentaly started playing the Campaign I like the Jacobs Instilation.

This fixed it. Thanks Fox.

No problem. Glad I could help.

would love to see all the broodwar ones made, some really good late game missions like omega and to slay the beast that id love to try on sc2

Did anyone complete that Enslaves3b?... I tried for a day, 16 battlecruisers and 15 zealots is still not enough to attack: the torrasque prevents most ground attacks, and mass dark swarm makes ground units completely immune to most attacks... I completed WoL in Brutal and Jones' remakes, and I tend to like high difficulty in single player, but that was really too much.

haha awesome, i just re-installed diablo2 ... i think its about time to re-play the sc and bw campaign again..
wow its been like .. WOW 13 years :D
