This is an event for all BarCrafters and Blizzard fans alike and it would be a great way to grab some more attention. Forum address is here: http://us.battle.net/blizzcon/en/forum/3158122/ This is not a Blizzard sanctioned event. They were the first company that we approached in March (yeah-- we've been planning all year) and they said no. We are staying at the Hilton and there is another very large afterparty that happens there on the same night, but Team Liquid gets priority for sure! EDIT: Saw the donation button, just donated $150. Just doing what I can to not kill eSports! Thanks! We were only able to partially fund this through corporate sponsorship. The community support is what is going to make a difference in the success of this event.

I don't understand what it not being a Blizzard sanctioned event has to do with posting it on the BlizzCon forums. There are a bunch of other community events posted on that forum. I don't see how it would be against the rules to post another community event just because it has some corporate sponsorship. I realize that Blizzard said no to being a sponsor, but this isn't even about Blizzard. It's about growing eSports and having an amazing time at a community sponsored event with other nerd ballers and friends.
