Façonnable model 2 years ago , this years collection has similar models though. Super well made frames , they are so robust and have some cozy finishing details , unlike most designers eyewear. Quite good frame , comfort that plastic frames offer and the colors are really nice , actually like a lot of tom ford's frames. Last but not least , Booth and Bruce frame 56 caliber , its funny thats the oldest i have and the more trendy nowadays , didnt found picture on the internet so yeah , big black square Frame. combine em all as I do please , and i have these in prospect. With a pair of transitions lenses ill use them as sunglasses too.

Do you guys have any suggestions as to what I should go for next? These were alright, but they're really not that comfortable and I wear them all day long. I'm open to any style really as long as they're they cause any discomfort. This is my first pair so I don't have experience with any other kinds, does anyone who has gone through a few different types/styles have any advice?

Get free framing - just paid 800kr (around 50€/80$) for both a regular set and sunglasses... I've "only" got -0,75... So still only using it for watching sports, cinema, theater and late night driving... These are perfect but huge let down because that's in the UK and I'm in America lol

Or contacts. well thats a quite narrow way to see it IMO. Actually Luxottica has more than 50% of market quota in frames and owns the big public brands(Chanel , Prada , Versace...) ; I agree its really high , but there are others ; Safilo , Marchon , etc... Most of the REALLY HIGH quality frames i work with in my store are either hand made , or sold directly from the brand , but lux has an average to high quality in most of their brands. Oakley is owned by luxxotica but they are still manufacturing them in the U.S. so there IS difference from their other products , there was quite a big upset when they got bought bc they wanted to close the factory and bring the production to italy (like they did with Rayban) but finally they let it stay in the US where Oakley still produces his own materials and super-resistant lenses. Only to give some examples , sometimes pricey does not mean better , but other times it does

My point is buy what looks best on you, not what everyone else is wearing.

Lots of people near me are buying the heavy framed glasses because it is fashionable and they just look plain bad in them. My point is buy what looks best on you, not what everyone else is wearing. It's all subjective, my friend.

First post from thread: "Sunglass Hut former employee here. It's not a secret just because you didn't know it was true. Let me explain what I mean. It's like telling someone, "Most TV channels are made by the same company. Do you prefer Comedy Central to MTV? Wake up. Comedy Central, BET, Spike, TV Land, Nickelodeon, MTV, and VH1 are all owned by Viacom!" That's how business works. And just like how TV connoisseurs know about Viacom, people who know about sunglasses know about Luxottica. It's common knowledge held by most regular customers. You say you're used to only buying $15 sunglasses? Well then you haven't had much to do with buying Luxottica brands, which would be one of the first things I would have told you as a new customer. We even give out coupons for Luxottica brands, and it states right on there what all the brands are. EDIT: I'm not saying that this isn't interesting information and doesn't qualify for TIL. I'm saying that telling people to "Wake up!" like they're being conspired against is ridiculous." Why you should shut the fuck up for being an idiot User was temp banned for this post.

It's like most small ticket consumer goods you buy in supermarkets in Australia are made by the 'Unilever' corportation. WAKE UP PEOPLE! THE CORPORATIONS!!!! AHAHHHH. Mine look very similar and it says Luxottica on the case. They're nice and unobtrusive. Also quite bent now from constantly passing out while drunk, I need new ones too :/ I hate the bulky "cool people" glasses because they block my peripheral vision. Does anyone else feel like that too?

So you loved the brand before they were cool heh? jk I've been wearing boring glasses for the past ALL MY LIFE. I'd like a change. Any Canadian could suggest me a good store which has a nice selection of models but for a decent price? By decent I mean, something between 0-200$ lets say. Above 150$ for glasses and I start finding it a bit ridiculous, even though I'm always ALWAYS wearing them and do everything with them.
