I'd like to point out that ICCUP does not see that as BM behaviour. Just hunt down the buildings (I find it fun) and never play against the guy again. I don't like it when things like this are called BM, don't put it together with things like verbal abuse which are a lot more serious imho.

That's interesting since the BM FAQ of iccup has this...
BM cases that we will NOT investigate
-Not reported games due dischack or disc
-Opponent floating buildings
-Opponent not wanting to leave the game
-Opponent using manner pylon
-Game leaver before 2 mins have passed
-Changing race right before game started
-Any bugs used during game
-All related ladder complaint issue
-Talks which are not referred directly to you.
If your thread include any of the issues listed above – your case will be deleted and ignored.
Of course you can open a new thread with the proper content.

No way around it and it gets categorized as bm, don't make such a big deal out of it. If it doesn't bother you then that's great but the rest of us are upset that after a presumable long and hard game the other player doesn't have the decency to actually take leave, and to waste my time.

Well it may be an issue that iCCup doesn't find worth while to enforce/ investigate. But it's a separate question entirely whether sGs wants that sort of behaviour from its players.

True, my point is that it should be considered a lesser offence when compared to the ones iccup does have beef with.

I don't understand why you think whether or not it is something that ICCUP would investigate is relevant here. The question is how to deal with something we think is unacceptable bm.

Gah would love to play with you guys since I'm not enjoying SC2 anymore. Last time I switched to BW I didn't have anyone to practice with as much as I wanted and started to play other games. But there is one thing thats kinda holding me back.
When I'm playing on iccup I have a really bad response time. It's not lagging/stuttering but just the response time when I'm making units, moving them and stuff is like 1 second and you can't play with that. Is there any settings I should change or do I just have bad luck with my ISP and the servers for some reason? T_T

Be that as it may, NONE of that behavior is acceptable in my eyes, especially for a clan designed to welcome and be a pleasant experience for newer players.

Exactly, when did iccup rules become precedent? Forget how they IP banned a city and their response to it was 'why not' ?

If hes BMing just report him to the sGs Admin and he will be kicked off the clan. Move on with your life and play other people in the clan. Stop dwelling on non-issues.

I AM an sGs admin. Hence the reason I care. I hadn't thought of BM type stuff and reputation being a problem but starting to hear about it now and with the size of sGs, its definitely something that needs to be addressed and made clear that it isn't okay to do.

Unlike SCII BW works peer to peer, so the response times should be different with every opponent. Are you connected to the internet through a router? If so have you forwarded your ports?
