Can someone answer this? The first games I remember were Ruby-Skyhigh on FS in 2009 where Ruby went mass wraith and Flash vs Baby in the Korean Air OSL on Great Barrier Reef. But these were curiosities at the time and looked very different from the typical wraith battles we see today.

Hello, everyone! Just watched almost one hour game between Last and Mind, so I have a question about their upgrades. They both made only 1-1 upgrades on air and vehicles. Why do they not make 3-3? The same thing also was in the game between Skyhigh and Mind, and between Leta and Baby. Only 1-1. Does anyone know the reason? Last even built more than 2 armories just for 1-1.

1 attack doesnt 2 shot 1(or2 or3) armor tanks. (75-1)x2=148 (or 146 or 144) But, it does 2 shot a 0 armor tank, and won't be 2 shotted by a 1 attack tank. Getting the 2nd attack upgrade when clearly going for wraiths is a waste of armory and resources.

I cant really give you much advice on this build but 2 fact is baaad in tvt. You rarely see it at pro level and when you do it tends to lose.
It's because of maps they use as opposed to what's played on icc or fish, it's not baaad. After you get enough gas for mines and speed take 2 scvs off gas and your minerals will start to bank up, just expo when you get enough and then add 2 scv back on gas.
Ironically any other 2 fact variant beats 2 fact vult. Also you only need 1 shop, I think I used 2 this game, old rep. After your initial attack and harass etc.. you use mines as a blanket so you can start pumping tanks/adding facts. Also need to know if he's going to drop you because then you need to put mines in your base coz if he catches you while you have no tanks, vults+scvs don't clean up gols or tanks well.
Ok, because my TvT game plan was to go 2 fact vult with mines and speed, transition to 2 port wraiths and expand. Since building vults would leave me with some gas for wraiths.
Well see problem is wraiths are complimentary units, tanks are what make TvT. If you open vult your gonna try to delay his expo keep his tanks busy etc..then expand yourself with advantage of map control. Opponent will not be able to immediately move out because of the threat of backstab. But eventually he'll be able to move out with tanks/gol and have some gol at his nat to prevent a run by. Usually by then you'll have your nat up and running and accumulated enough tanks to defend his attack. In your case you'd have wraiths..with can deter attacks but it won't be enough to stop it completely and he might even have scan by then.

Tanks have innate 1 armor so a +1 tank will never 2 shot a full hp tank.
What games were those? I searched but couldn't find them.

Au contraire, the 3rd base on FS is quite easy for terran (and all races really), try taking your 3rd on python!
First you should definitely build the CC in the main and float over.
As you're floating over, move tanks over (leaving a couple in your main on the high ground to defend your nat) and scan where the CC will land. If toss has stuff there, siege on the low ground and push into your own base (once you get up there a wall/turret/couple tanks defends it easily).

create a siege line between the third and nat. Mine around the other entrance to the third, and put a supply depot wall as well. This should create enough of a delay so that you can maneuver enough troops to defend against the attack.
hi guys hope you can help me with this one: often when i watch streams i see players set their waypoints without using the mini-map ...its like they just "jump" to the place they wanna have them... like skipping between entrence and buildings usually i have my buildings( rax/facts/gates/hatch) on hotkeys on 4- 9 and then i just stay a the spot i want them and fast click 4- 9 there.... but when u get in the lategame... and u build more gates... u need the set the waypoints again - so thats why i wonder if there is a way to do it without using the hotkeys... thanks for the help

haha, i think as a general player, Number 0-9 is enough for grouping. i can not put my fingers on the F2-F4 keys as they are too busy.
you should always use f2-f4. if you dont use them to macro at least screensave to ur main/nat/ and 3rd expo for ez worker production, transfer and quick evacs if ... reaver/storm/marine/vulture/tank/lurker/hydra drops come

i think its really important to if you're protoss or terran to macro and not waste keys. not so much as zerg.
