I'm pretty sure he hasn't even been fielded in the team league since dropping out of code A. Is he still playing at all/still part of ZeNEX? He still plays, iirc he played in korean weekly today.

Haven't seen him since the GSTL. Hm.

Yeah, easier to make it professionally in LoL. Why? It's so damn easy compared to professional starcraft :/

Professionally? Not really.
Getting into the professional scene for LoL is so much harder because you need good coordination with your team, which is more reliant on luck (personalities mixing well) and hours of getting to know each other. It's so much harder than getting good at your macro/micro in SC2.
Maybe it's easy to 'get' in to the professional side of the game, but it's just as hard (if not harder) to make an impact in the LoL scene than SC2 scene.

didn't he quit SC2 for LoL?
BTW who the hell was Masq? I remember wayyyyyyyyyyyy back in the beta people were hyping up, and then they stopped talking about him like yesterday's news. I always see him in GM league and once in a 1v1 obs game.

That's a rumor floating around, based on videos showing him playing LoL instead of practicing SC2, and another false rumor stating that he didn't even try for Code A last qualifiers. (He did try out. He got to the semifinals of his bracket and lost to RagnaroK, who lost to Jjun.)

Highly doubt that... LoL is really easy to master as a video game, then for sure, the only hard part is the teamplay, but then again, it's not even close, to the difficulty of becoming pro on SC2, simply, if you want you can become pro on LoL for 90% of people, if they dedicate time, reading, team searching and training, SC2, maybe 10% of players would have actually the capacity of becoming pro. Simply, the apm and the intensity of it, makes it much harder, not trying to compare the games, but SC2 is kind of an unique difficulty. Even if some guys make it look easy because it's natural for them, when you see people training, learning about the game, and being stuck in gold... LoL mechanics are really amazingly easy, compared to Dota for example, so yeah huge part of it depends on the team and few key players actions, which for me depends quite often on luck. Not taking anything from LoL pros but it's "doable", where SC2, well frankly I would be semi pro at least by now if this was true , my hands just say no

Don't really wanna turn this into a LoL vs SC2 vs w/e thread, but out of experience the main thing you need to be succesful at any teamgame is just a lot of friends in the proscene. There's loads of terrible 'pro' teamgame players that get carried around by their teams just cause they are friends.

Loner still plays in China. He was at Blizzcon 2011. Seed is in Code A and played as recently as last Saturday. No one really makes an effort to check TLPD or Liquipedia before asking do they?

RenieHour LotzePrime LegalMind RexZanDarke RenieHour posted on TL once saying that he's not good enough to compete with the best. I believe he does a lot of work in the Korean SC2 community though.
LotzePrime became NettiePrime and was with Prime last season GSTL, but TLPD doesn't have him on Prime anymore, which implies he's left.
LegalMind is on TeamClash.
