Everyone always pities Greg - his personality keeps him "relevant" but what were his last results [seriously I'm curious]? This is esports where memories of players with very recent success like Leenock and Jjackji are already fading.
I find myself rooting for Gatored out of "nostalgia" too, lol.

no underdogs but I can't see these guys not advancing. (Love that people are shitting on IdrA when a few months ago he came made top 8 at Providence, and won Gongzhou which last I checked both tournaments had really good players/programmers.) So keep shitting on him guys an let your ignorance run wild cause IdrA is easily one of the top 3 foreigners in the world hahahahahahaha. 3 months ago Idra might have been one of the top 3 foreigners in the world, but probably not. now hes not even close. hes 1-18 in tournaments and show matches this year, and it hasnt even been close

Me too. Gatored has taken down so many top Koreans and really deserves much more attention.

Ehm, how exactly is group D ahead of group A in the poll? Group D has 3 good players (DRG, Supernova and Kas). Group A has 4 great koreans and 2 decent non-koreans, both of which are better than Idra, Real and Feast.
It's very very very strange. The only thing I could think of is that people vote D because they are still under the bizarre misconception that Idra has even a tiny bit of skill, which of course he doesn't.

Killer is not korean so that's 3 korean. And violet is probably the only korean to be in the foreign scene (with Select), but yeah he is great. Aside from that Killer is an average zerg, JYP has been overshadowed by many younger players so only MMA can be considered very strong. Strelok has been in a slump lately as are almost every terran in europe who aren't Thorzain or Kas. And Socke while good is nowhere as shiny as ReaL or Feast. I think it covers you question.

Oh, no, come on, one of few American players I'm really interested in and he can't come? T.T
That's so unfortunate, I'd love to see him play again!

Group D is sick, but none of these groups are going to be as fucked up as the madman who made the ironsquid groups. those are just cruel

What? I can't say I blame him for taking the smarter, stable career path, but his retirement is a huge blow to the foreigner scene. How many foreigners have beaten DRG, 3-0 TOP, and beaten Ganzi? Very few, and now there are even fewer. Just a huge loss, but I cannot blame him on his decision.

I thought he'd go anyway, give it a try, I mean, it could have been a fun trip.

There are 0 groups of death. This will be top 3 of each group. Big skill gaps at this event.
Group A: viOLet MMA JYP -easy for them
Group B MC Nerchio HasuObs -Sound played really bad at HSC4 and i dont know how i got so far.
Group C PuMa DIMAGA MaNa -FD and Zenio are inconsistent but can take 2/3 spot also. Hardest group to predict.
Group D DongRaeGu SuperNoVa Kas\Real -nc
And MC will take whole tournament. Dongraegu/MMA will take 2nd/3rd place.
