Just saying, if you're expecting the D3 PvP release to keep your show going, you're probably going to be disappointed.
Did they really care about the PvP in D2?

Best Diablo 3 show that you're not watching!
Hopefully it gets popular enough that it can be featured on the TL calendar

Same answer to both questions.

Blizzard is making an entire arena and matchmaking system dedicated to PvP. What part of that says "We don't care about PvP?" As far as D2 goes, I would argue yes, there were competitive communities built around D2. Was it as large as SC1 or War3? Definitely not.
The show isn't dedicated to PvP, the show is dedicated to Diablo. PvP and PvE. Will I cover PvP? Certainly, because there will be a competitive scene built around it, regardless of whether or not Blizzard has any intentions in making it competitive.
But hey, I'm not here to debate whether or not PvP will become mainstream. I'm just here to help teach people the game and PvP is definitely a big part of Diablo, especially when looking at end game content.

I think the main problem with D3 and PvP is the balance issue. Blizzard do not have a dedicated balance team for D3 like they had on SC2. If it's not balanced, let's say one class is far superior to the others, it will not be competitive.. simple as that.
I don't think that's a big problem though. PvP can be something fun and cool to do either way, but I question the competitiveness.

I'll post this here as well..

Viable build is viable. That's what Diablo's all about, .

this is a great show and I cant wait for diablo 3 to come out. there is going to be so much build theorycrafting it will be awsome.
I was somewhat of a D2 veteran untill I stopped playing and I think this show is really appealing to veterans and new players. as I said it will become real interesting when the game is out and people start theory/build crafting.
as for the show, how flexible is the start time? I know 6 PM Est is 3 PM Pacfifc and alot of people still tend to be at work at that time of day(on the west coast), but for european's it works out kind of well. You might be able to get more viewership if you started an hour later. It's just a thought though.

Yeah, show times will likely change a bit post-release, once I get a little bit of a following. I'll likely be doing them a tad earlier, I'll try and come up with a time decent for EU viewers as well, .
Yeah, this is what I was citing in the the episode I did earlier today, . Crazy right?

what you could do is start later so you catch everyone in NA, and then re-broadcast(re-run) the diablo daily the next day at an earlier time for europeans.
How you would go about re-streaming your Vod, I do not know as im not an expert.
Kind of like What IPL and NASL do. or you could Run it earlier and do a re-broadcast right after.
Just some Ideas to reach out to a bigger audience

Just some Ideas to reach out to a bigger audience That's actually a decent idea, something certainly worth looking into on my end. I'll figure something out, .

I just wanted to post to encourage others to watch this show, and if you're not all that up to date with D1/D2 or D3 is your first Diablo experience it is absolutely worth catching the VoDs. Really enjoying the show.

DJ wheat's shows are listed as an event on the team liquid calendar and so are Day 9's, is there a way you could somehow list your daily as an event so it's pop up on team liquid? (granted these event's pop up the day of usually)
Im not sure, but I think you would have to PM one of the mods/administrators on TL
this is just another Idea, hope I'm not overwhelming you with them.

For next time, I would want to see more research done on the topics because it seemed like a lot of the information you were talking about was purely from memory, with only a couple pages for support. I can only speak about the Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 parts, but when you mentioned the artisans you had originally only thought there was four levels, which you later corrected, but you should know that information initially.
On the whole though, I really enjoy where this is headed, regardless of whether or not the D3 development team balances the game for PvP, I feel you'll be at the forefront of community for casting and theorycrafting effective builds. Like the Day9 of Diablo 3
you have alot of information to share on the dailies and alot to research and remember, and as this poster pointed out constructively, make sure your research is done. I think a great idea to help with this would be to simply put sticky notes of things you have a hard time remembering on your monitor as an aid and we wouldn't see any of these notes as viewers. you could aslo put reminders of things to cover on stickies.
sorry, I'm not trying to be a dick or anything, just trying to be helpful. I really like the show and I want it to do well

this is just another Idea, hope I'm not overwhelming you with them. Yeah, I'll have to look more into how this works, I'm not exactly sure. I just applied (and was approved) to have a normal stream here on TL. Keep the ideas coming, worst case scenario is I can't do them for whatever reason!

Well Sixen to be honest your doing good contents yes. But the game your focusing on isn't even out yet. To be a featured stream requires some requisites to be met....right now I do not think your stream/show can be listed on the TL calendar as a event.
Perhaps waiting till D3 is out and you really get the show on the road & rolling, i think you will have a high chance of being listed
