It's so bad. Like watching 4 year olds play soccer. They all just jumble together to cap one point and lose everything else on the map.

No gold, no gifts of exploration, no gold star. The only thing I can think of is I haven't done the final story quest yet. Either it's that or it's a bug from it being a vista/in WvW. If you haven't joined the Order of Whispers for your story quest, they have a base in Bloodtide coast (through a portal) that gives you one POI. Its the one I was missing when I was at 99%, haha.

You can check out http://www.guildwars2guru.com/topic/47239-sycthrexs-pet-guide/ for a full list. In solo PvE I run double bears because they have incredible HP and will almost never die if you switch them around. In group PvE and dungeons I like the jungle stalker a lot because it gives Might. For PvP I run Black Widow spider and Pink Moa, but there are many many other combinations based on your playstyle. I haven't played my ranger in a while, but I sometimes felt that the pet F2 skill is pretty laggy. That's the only complaint I have about the class. I had the same experience with the F2 skill. It often doesn't seem to execute even a few seconds after i pressed it. My pet just keeps auto-attacking for a while until it finally decides to use the skill. Also, spiders are great in PvP imho. Immobilize skills are so strong.

If you've played LoL (it's probably the case in DotA as well but I haven't played in a while) you'll notice that this game is the same when it comes to Solo queue. There are builds and strategies that are way better in solo queue than in teams. People do run around like headless chickens, trying to zerg bases if you don't give them instructions (and even then they don't always listen) and almost no-one defends or does anything useful. As such, I always pick a character depending on what I feel the team needs. Going a very tanky node defender helps massively in solo because no one else wants to do it. A very strong 1v1 build is also helpful so you can attack their defenders or treb and whatnot. Solo 5s is still better than 8v8 though. Only had time for one tournament yesterday but i finally got some Arcane Crystals so I have a pretty looking thief now. I got my first tournament wins as a Necro on Niflhel and Foefire (Defended our close base in Niflhel and attacked their base in Foefire) and I feel like I can play the class again now. I'm getting the hang of Condition Management and Life Force bar. When we got to evil Kyhlo I swapped to thief and just constantly attacked their treb all game. They stuck a warrior on treb and he could never 1v1 me. This led to us taking him out of the fight while our treb was safe to shoot. It got to the point where I was constantly drawing other enemies to fight me so we had the numbers advantage elsewhere. I think next time I might leave my opponent alive for longer so I can pull more assistance. We didn't exactlty stomp the game but we did win at least. Not sure how much time I'll have to play tonight, but looking forward to more tournaments. Gotta get that pretty looking gear.

Yeah, just return to Character Select and select someone else. Once you're back you get a prompt to join the map. If you don't. just go through the Tournament menu on the top bar. You can do this during the waiting period before the game (the 5 minute "I am Ready" part. A lot of people don't realise you can do this but I can see why they wouldn't want to try it. If you create a team, you'll notice that you invite the account. I haven't actually tried to do this during a game but I imagine that doesn't work.

Most SC2 tournaments requiers the player to choose one race and stick to it. So based on that(and other examples), I thought I had a legitimate question. Do you disagree?

Only asking cause me and 3-4 friends have a guild on Isle of Janthir, but we never have enough to do dungeon crawling/WvW stomping so I tossed int he idea that we could reroll to wherever TL GW2 guild is.. but apparently no US-based guild for GW2? @fawkes: http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/zfr9x/mystic_forge_recipes_and_research_it_makes_exotics/ can make exotic weps with special skins. Also has link to another page that is more clearly sorted out with recipe lists for the Forge (or as i like to call it.. the magic fountain)
