Speaking of glitches, I also saw a + Show Spoiler + in the middle of hyperion city by opportunity square, but that's not nearly as annoying as not being able to kill a boss. the part you have spoilered is the same for us. dunno if it is a glitch or not.
Thats not a glitch you get to Opportunity after that happens . Jack just showcases this trophy i guess

I got the bunker stuck in a place shaking at 0 health and it wouldn't die, just kinda stuck in the waterfall. Just exited the area, came back and killed it without going up there just in case and it dropped a ton of stuff.

Yeah that's where it stuck both times, near the waterfall.
Anyways, after that glitch I went to try and get a new sledge's shotgun, and I found that Rakkman drops a "Gunnerang". It's a tediore pistol that boomerangs and homes in on enemies when you reload it lol.

Well it's still weird because there's never any dialogue explaining or reason for it to be there. The showcasing idea has to be inferred, and it's still weird because it's in the back of the square rather than on display in the middle.

What class should I make if I plan to solo this?

I'd recommend Axton-Commander- The turret is a good tank which draws aggro and even attacks. Just toss it down when shit hits the fan.

This game is rather huge, i'm still not finished with my first playthrough... Already done like 85 optional missions. Not sure if it is bigger than the first one because i didn't play that one solo, but i think it is.
Probably played 40-45 hours already. Only one char.
@ mastergriggy: Agree with you, it's a great game so far.

Gotta say...this game really is a giant fuck you to EA especially after everything EA has been saying lately about how single player is dead/long games are bad/etc. I'm just happy that a company made a 60hr rpg disguised as an fps with a solid story. This game was one of my best gaming experiences in a very long time.

Just started playing a couple days ago, had two questions about moving forward tho:
1. How much driving is there? I really don't enjoy that element of the game, and am hoping to transition into primarily fast traveling.
2. Is there any endgame? It was horrible/non-existent in BL1, and I'm worried about having nothing to do save bad DLC at max level. Any endless dungeon-mode or something that has a scaling challenge with actual loot?

Other than that, fasttravel is free after you have explored the stations. For some optional delivery missions it's necessary to drive though, and it's much better than in Borderlands 1 because the vehicles actually do good damage.
2. Can't tell that yet.

While driving isn't strictly mandatory, it's the fastest way from point A to B in areas where vehicles are available. Fast traveling is VERY limited. You'll wish for cars when you start needing to walk huge distances.

Vehicles on the other hand are IMO hardly used... Most quests are in maps without vehicles anyway.

Every class solos anything short of the optional "group only" boss just fine. The assassin is probably the one comparatively lacking in self sufficiency, but they still can do fine.
Someone was asking about replayability at 50 last page: The game has some more replayability at cap than the original thanks to the rarer good loot and more interesting enemies. Badass points and challenges might help slightly too, but I'm not 'feeling it' much for those. BL1 vanilla was more or less over once you got your first decent volcano for a hunter/hellfire for anyone else. It became too easy and simple too quickly while continued upgrades were only marginal. It's certainly better than that but I don't see it being anything like d2 though.
Also, anyone wanting to set up for 50 should know that all playthrough 2 quests roll over into "playthrough 2.5". That is to say, if you want level 50 law and order for a melee assassin for example do not even start the quest until you are in pt2.5. The esc key is your friend if you are talking to an npc with a quest you do not want to start yet, the [X] on the manu tab is iffy.

Inuendobot 5000 ftw. It just makes it so much funnier if you think about it, the developers are all 30+ and still put stuff like that in the game. We'Re still laughing our asses off. Started subtle with "ore chasm" going into "sex sex seeeex". So stupid, yet so funny xD

When you're in a big map with quests but without vehicles you are forced to walk everywhere basically. While people may or may not bore of that, the fact remains that once you arrive at a zone, you can't expect to use fast travel to get everywhere you want within the zone. Only a few zones like the Highlands even have multiple fast travel stations.

But usually there is enough stuff to kill & explore (! i love searching for huge chests :D) everywhere so you don't really need to rush to the place you want to go to. It's true there are maps where you need or want to drive more, though.

Usually it's not too big of an issue, but for some quests (backtracking to Flynt's freighter comes to mind), walking is really just a chore, and the enemies/loot are so low level that they're more of a hindrance than anything else.

If there is a map where i used the vehicle a lot then that's "The Dust". ^^ I'm not disliking using it though, although sometimes i would prefer more fast travel too.
