Just started NG+ on elite and to say the least it is hard. I was wondering whether I should just keep skilling up my tanky skills like shield/bulwark/aegis stuff or just start building more offence to kill the enemies quicker. My main damage skills are flame hammer and seismic slam, but I am also levelling sledgebot because it seems pretty ridiculous. I have elemental protection IV but most of the problem lies in physical burst of champions and bosses. I am probably going to start either a sword and board engi or cannon, which do you guys think is funner in the long run? Any help is appreciated.

Do you mean like construct tree or spells? I decided to go with sword and board. On vet so far seems pretty good. Just need to get past the early game crappy items and into the real stuff. Btw is it possible to change the difficulty setting of a singleplayer game through the command console?

I meant Gun bot + Sledge bot + spider mines in construct tree. It's loads of fun IMO, and cannons feel very very powerful. You can change it through command console but you be flagged as a cheater. If that bothers you, then you can just go into a LAN game and set the difficulty to whatever you please, but it won't permanently change your difficulty (will default as vet).

Curious about starting up a DW ranged Berserker - while most of the skills/passives are fairly clear that they only apply to melee weapons, does anyone who's run a ranged 'serker know if Red Wolf applies on ranged attacks?

Also, dual-wielding - whenever I equip second weapon my min damage drops significantly, but max barely changes:

It does scale with Focus at least.Having a blast with this - love the very uh Gauntlet-esque pacing and art/animation style as well as the sense of humour (the Silence of the Lambs easter egg in one of the dungeons!). I just found a luck enchanther (+mf, +gold), but after few enchants he just disappeared. The level design is also great, especially the HUGE random generated maps. Found few good rares for my character:
