I am sorry, I am utter noob at this , how can I check it ? (but I guess it is, at least thats how it looks like on stream)

OBS Should should how many dropped frames you had.

For a few days i was streaming on 1500 and 2000 bitrate with OBS, but after a while, it would start skipping frames and i would get a huge (like 400 ms) delay in-game, any idea why this is happening? i could restart my computer but nothing would change, yet the next day, for some time, i would sometimes play lagg-free (sometimes it would still have that huge delay) before it would start happening again. Is this overheating, or what?. If i turn off OBS then the delay is gone

I have a i5 2500k @ 4.7ghz and i can stream 1080p@ 60fps @ medium preset
You cannot do that on any kind of remotely stressful scene or hold anywhere near that resolution*fps*preset on the encoder while playing Starcraft 2 with that CPU.

Just out of curiosity how much fps does illusion have in game? i almost have the same setup. From the start of the game to 200vs200 fights.

Well, i can, so your logic aint too great.

No you can't.
It's not nice to lie. And no one cares about staring down at 12 workers or a handful of units not doing anything.

I think it does. Doesnt it say that at the bottom part of the main screen?

Ok real question. Sometimes my friends audio is 2 seconds behind what it should be. Its always the same length of time. It starts at different times. The length of time never grows, once its behind its behind forever, until restart.
Any ideas?
|
is this for desktop audio, or for webcam audio?
|
|
|
Is it possible to set audio to mono in a future update by any chance?
|
medrea - thanks for telling me, could you ask your friend to try the "sync fix" in advanced? also, I'll try to add more options for audio timing in an audio update at some point. it would be useful to have an option to set your audio outputs to have different timing (if needed)
I may add mono audio as well when I get to the audio update.

I have been using Obs for atleast a month now, but since i upgraded to win8 it makes my computer blue screen, any ideas what i can do to make it run again? i have tryed running as administrator and setting it to win 7 compatibility..

Driver IRQL not less or equal is the error message, i have updated my graphics drivers, but il go check if there are any new ones available for my pc.
Thanks for the help

I'm streaming right now mw3, can anyone tell me if the quality is lacking?
i53570k@stock gtx 560ti twin frozr ii gpu 8gb ram
I haven't OC'ed yet because I'm waiting on some stuff. My monitor resolution is 1440x900, so 16:10. In game I'm not lagging all that bad, as in it's 100% playable. I haven't tried sc2. oh edit:

Hey, thanks for making this program (and posting about it here), it's awesome! If I may suggest, if it's not too hard to add, the "show mouse clics" feature from xsplit was something I liked quite a bit (it would turn the cursor negative when you clic). Other than that I had no problems using it at all, and the help section is really cool (I finally understood what the bitrate buffer is for!). Thanks again obs.Jim :D
