Hate to say "I told ya so", but it goes without saying. This is why you don't jump to conclusions in the first place.
I'm very happy that the right thing has been done! Sonic is working really hard on this, the community is enjoying it and it would have been a terrible thing for the tournament to not finish. Just please give credit to Blizzard and Mike Morhaime for making the right decision, instead of patting yourself on the back for being a keyboard warrior.
Why am I giving credit to Blizzard? They corrected an error that was their fault to begin with. They don't deserve mounds of credit for returning back to the status quo.
Your logic: "So that dude did kidnap a girl, but he let her go 3 days later. So really, we should all be patting that guy on the back because he helped resolve a kidnapping case. What an upstanding citizen."
Wait, what? Blizzard did something legal/within their rights; your analogy doesn't really fit. It's more like "That dude took an old lady's seat on the bus, but after everyone glared at him, he got up."
Blizzard working with Sonic is not exactly angelic behavior, but not something to be dismissed so easily either.
Anyway, hoping for everything to get sorted out quickly ^^

Blizzard didn't win any court cases. The legality in Korea is still in question. Even if their "right" is upheld in a court of law: just because it was legal doesn't mean it wasn't an error on there part. Whether you want to use my analogy or yours, Blizzard shouldn't be lauded either way.

Wow I just read all this drama now !!! Im super glad cause I woulda gotten banned for sure lol.
If I didnt know any better id say this was some elaborate marketing ploy. This is kinda like in politics when you rile up your own base and there is nothing that can unite our base like the hatred for Blizzard lol.
Another victory for BW, we on da comeback trail yo. Next step, we get Mr. Morhaime to tweet about the finals xD

Would you shut the fuck up, with your smugness? I logged on specifically with the intention of doing so, if this issue was resolved, but I wouldn't want anyone to think that you had anything to do with my sentiments, in any way.
Nonetheless, I have no idea whether this is any kind of marketing ploy, but I suspend cynicism for the possibility that Mike Morhaime has done something really good for us here. Thank you Mike for letting great BW go ahead.
Still, glad it all worked out? Unless they're still thinking about messing with Afreeca streams. Wouldn't be surprised if they were.
Shame I wasn't able to use my pitchfork this time , love you guys for rallying once again though
It should be pointed out that after that message aired, it was later edited down to remove Mike's offensive comments about "StarCraft II is the future." The rest of that goes on OGN, not Blizzard, for being completely asstarded and editing Morhaime into a montage of OSL winners. I can't understand what the hell went through their heads.
It's not like Blizzard actually controls what OGN broadcasts, they didn't order them to edit that. I'll bet you OGN asked Mike to record a message and that's what he said, not knowing it was gonna go the way it did.

Kespa settling suggests that their lawyers did not think it was winnable either. Of course you can say that pretty much every case is unique and this one would definitely have been setting a precedent but I do think Blizzard winning would be very much in line with current copyright law.
Sonic says he was able to secure the same venue for December 1st, at Gun-Gook University. The event starts at 7pm KST, and everybody is welcome to come. He says rocker Park Wan Gyu and Kim Carrier are still on board as planned, so all in all everything worked out pretty well He also says you can add him on facebook at http://www.facebook.com/sogoodtt and he will try his best to communicate with you in English haha Oh i forgot to ask him about the stargirls... ._. ill ask when i talk to him again
