Thanks again man. You'll always have my support :D
P.S. I have now shaken your hand twice, but I've never gotten an autograph. Maybe if we meet again at MLG Raleigh, I'll get that chance.

Incontrol, as a symbol, is nearly universally disliked or even hated. Foreigners are sick and tired of seeing their heroes constantly get destroyed by Koreans in tournaments, and they need someone to blame. Who better than someone who makes a lot of money, represents the community, and constantly gets destroyed in tournaments? The storyline goes like this: foreigners practice less, focus on personality more, lose to Koreans. Incontrol fits that storyline to a T. Moreover, people feel like because Incontrol and others are financially successful without being successful in tournaments, that foreigners have no incentive to do well in tournaments or practice hard. In short, people feel like there is something fundamentally wrong with non-Korean SC2, and the fact that one of the highest paid players has no tournament success is the biggest indicator of that fundamental wrongness. The fact that that player happens to be one of the most likable guys in esports contributes to the community's "bipolar" view of Incontrol. | ||
