Yes, but its SC2 here, not Brood War.

So? Are you implying that SC2 is easier than Brood War, JD can just cruise along because of his BW superiority? I think this is exactly what you mean.

Yeah, INcontrol would totally have owned WJS if he wasn't making the video...

While that may be your personal idea of the top six players, from best to worst, the coaches still need to take into account the maps and possible match-ups each player will be playing. It would be un-wise to blindly throw a player out third just because he might be third best in the top line-up. Experience and sniping other players are important things to take into account.

No he needs to actually get good at the game too by putting in more practice time too and get his butt to Korea.

People tend to overrate the talent on their team, but to tell the truth, only taeja and jd are possibly high calibre players, who are of course not in their best shape right now. They are simply not as good as the other korean players, whether they are kespa or ESF. Of course, having only 2 good players on a team does not bode so well for in-house practice.
Nothing wrong with the coach, don't blame him. JD should get out of this team if he wants to show results.
I don't think the team has an impact on Jaedong's skill level. Jaedong was in a pretty shitty team (Hwaseung Oz) when he was tearing shit apart.

EGTL is the SC2 Hwaseung OZ.
Stephano = Jaedong Taeja = Hiya JYP = Perfectman Jaedong = Killer

I would play Thorzain + Huk because they psychologically won't take it as hard IMO if they lose based on not having as high expectations on them.
Its not cool to see players cry after games, please stop playing Hero if he will be psychologically damaged by losing so much.

Only the gracken could save egtl but he is too busy owning HotS

If EGTL is the new OZ, they would have been the forerunner of SPL already. Oz made it into 1 WL final and 1 PL final with that lineup. I rather have them to have those performances than their abysmal current one.

Thorzain will be a good choice for round 4 what with the hots switch and all the practice hes being doing

Well, if you start benching them for that reason, wouldn't their confidence be even lower? I mean if it was like an injury like Taeja, then yes. But what are you telling your player when you won't play them.

I think InControl himself will tell you that if it was just practice that he is missing from being a top player global, he would train his butt off.

The streaming thing strikes me as a potential issue. If their practice time goes towards streaming then it's a waste of practice time imo - either they aren't practicing particular strategies and not using the time productively, or they are and as a result are providing their opponents with an opportunity to watch and see what might be thrown at them. I get that streaming is a big source of income, and good for exposing people to sponsors/players, but there's a reason why EGTL is the only Proleague team where anyone streams.

More like the new Airforce Ace.lol
Whoever wrote the article the power ranking on EG-TL being 1st among Proleague teams clearly overrate EG-TL and underrated Kespa teams.
People have to realize Kespa teams are improving.
I guess EG curse struck after all.
Like what someone said before in this thread, money can't buy success.
