It's BS to pair teams up by how "good" you think they are.
Also, stream goes unwatchable right when giants start raping T.T My explanation has nothing to do with how good " i " think they are, but how good they actualy perform that very day. DB got last yet might get more lucky then Wolfs in who they face ... that makes little sense, same for the amateur teams. If you get last in LCS it's only fair you face the strongest of the amateurs instead of a random one. All the teams that qualified for relegation qualified for relegation. How do you rank them "properly"? Seems there's a post you missed? What was spoken about was the LCS teams are ranked in order of how they placed in the season then amateur teams play a group stage where winner plays vs 8th team 2nd place vs 7th etc. but Redox pointed out that the teams might consider 8th harder than 7th so intentionally lose games etc. edit: Why do Ez's blindly go the blue build. It seems so shit in this situation. Possible, I'm not reading much. I just post when the stream lags out.
Too busy watching non-consensual love being made to atn.

The seeding doesn't accurately reflect where the challenger teams currently stand in both EU & NA. Relative to how fast things move in the amateur scene, Lille is ancient. It's one thing to reward consistency in a league like LCS and another thing to expect amateur teams, many of which aren't even sponsored, to fully dedicate for months towards getting a good seed.
After all, the goal is to get the best possible teams in. I haven't really thought of an alternative but I would have liked for example the 1st round to be replaced with a double elimination tournament to determine the top 4 challengers in current order. And then give them a week to prepare the final round against LCS teams. So still use the old seeding for the double elim but make it less of a gamble overall.
Not to single them out but Alternate is a good example, I don't think they're the 2nd best challenger team in EU and it's a mistake to have them occupy that position based on technicalities. And honestly, I don't think they were the 2nd best around the time of Lille either, a lot of teams were caught by surprise about ranked 5s acting as a qualifier for that one.
My suggestion was made on the spot so maybe I overlooked something, but surely there must be better ways to determine the top 4 than the current system.

Kerp's team truly is heavy

Shame Neo was just asking about the games themselves and we've gone on a huge tangent about format. I never watched the games after atn vs wiz game 2 so can't help.

Well fuck, hopefully Wolves are still better lol.

Holy shit that was a great play from Kerp.

Those TF/Zed duels make me laugh.

Time to finish a game that should be finished ages ago there GIANTS.
|
It is really hard to beat an lcs team. they trained over weeks with the best teams and got paid for playing 24/7.
|
Easy win for GIANTS.
Mr.ForellenLord make plays in soloQ, not LCS.

Forellenlord sure fed hard, how does Diana lose vs TF anyway...

I would like to see Diana's win ratio in lcs. I don't watch it regulary but I feel like teams with Diana lose a lot.

Haha, I'll talk to Riot about their format (which I believe there's still a lot of room for improvement) at a later date. I don't think it's something they can change midseason, so we're pretty much set with this for the rest of 2013.
But yeah, I'm curious to what you European are thinking about the matches themselves, not the format.

Real yolo mentality. He thinks just cause he has a winning lane matchup, he can go balls deep.
