Personally I think Sc2 is far harder then BW in every aspect that wasn't just that bad because they couldn't make it any better back then. Watching those old BW matches I am just struck by how slow all the units move and how few units there are to control, how few abilities they have to use etc. Man, if you were a more frequent poster, I would memorialize this post in my profile so that I would never forget the kind of person you are.

Got from Bronze to Master league because I think it's by far the best game out there, because it's challenging, well balanced, and fun to watch. But one aspect I loved about e-sport was the fact that it was growing so fast. This aspect has gone completely from SC2 esports. In addition to this the prizemoney is getting lower. (not 100% sure about this though, but it definitly feels like it)

Gom only may be fine for the foreign audience, but it would be a blow to korean star 2 almost as huge as the max fixing scandal in bw was. The level hasn't really changed. Star 2 is just as unpopular as it pretty much always been in Korea. It has a niche audience, and if it all goes back to GOM that niche audience will remain. The 'foreign' fanbase is probably the most important for Star 2 anyway. And look at how OGN's stream, with them having all the advantages of having the players on stream, is less than half of GOM's stream.

Just watch the games dude. sc2 has grown since HotS came out. It's not doing poorly at all. I don't know what the deal is with the constant negativity on these forums, It's really getting old. Did you know that Dreamhack Stockholm and Summer were the most viewed DH's of all time for sc2? The record for DH in WoL was 86k for DHW 2011 on a stream that was showing every game, instead of only sc2. Stockholm 2013 had 121k for the finals, Summer 2013 had 110k for the finals(on a monday, not a sunday). I can post proof if you don't believe me. Regarding the prize money, WCS alone is giving out 1.6 million this year. I don't think It's lower than 2012 overall but we'll see at the end of the year.

So star 2 going up on afreeca and in pc bang popularity since hots launch doesn't mean shit? OGN couldn't care less about the global audience when they are primarily a korean tv station, whereas gom is 100% online based, you can't even compare that.
