Close, but no cigar…
Free – This is another one of those months where I wish I had 11 slots to award, Free, because you’d be #11. Despite being on the same team as GGPlay, you’ve been sent out as the team’s ace time and time again; there has to be a reason.
GoRush – It’s not that I think you’ve gotten worse, GoRush. It’s just that everyone else has had more of a chance to prove themselves as of late. Plus, you’re out of the running for an OSL slot; that weighs heavily against you.
July – You made a pretty good showing in the last MSL, and you just made it out—2-0, no less!—of a difficult ODT group. I’ll be watching closely to see if your brilliance of yore is actually resurfacing. When you’re in form, no Zerg is more entertaining to watch.
Nal_Rock - I'll be really surprised if you make it out of your OSL group, and I'm willing to guarantee that you won't progress past the Ro8.
Nada – You’ve clawed your way back into the MSL, but your record—and your play—since April has been too mediocre to seriously consider you for a slot in this month’s Power Rank.
Reach – Frozean? Twice? Seriously?

You have an extra "are" in the GGPlay bit.

it's "eke out", not "eek out"
and your description of stork smacks of hot_bid =D
PS: bisu has now officially spent more time at number 1 than savior

As for the rankings themselves, I don't have quite as many doubts about Stork. I like Iris, but I'm not sure I would put him at #2 (but yeah, Iris is probably more rounded than GGPlay). I wonder how GGPlay would have fared if he had to face any Protoss on his climb to thet OSL win. He certainly did a good job against Terrans...
Other than that, interesting that Hwasin was ousted by both champions (and I'm not terribly surprised either). And I think I'd put July above FBH (second month he's just barely missed out on the PR). FBH seriously needs to work on his TvP. I think he would have beaten Stork if he had played more straight up, but that's probably a testament to Stork's level of play in a couple of games than anything (how he won even two games with the marine/tank crap is beyond me, he made retarded attempted cheeses too. Does he even have the slightest clue how to do a timing push?). Maybe push Free or GoRush to number 10 instead of July (I'm leaning towards July followed by GoRush).
Memory of his strong play indeed. ~_~

His TvP is just that--his play in TvP games--and his career TvP record is a compilation of statistics. Someone could have great TvP and still have a horrible TvP record, for instance, if they got cheesed a bunch or had to play on difficult maps.

Yeah, I realized that after the fact and editted it out. It wasn't terribly clear to me at first though.

You put out a great power rank and then get to this point. I admit I have never been a fan of Rock either but in july he has managed to beat FBH, Jaedong, and Flash in best of series. The guy is hot right now.

Watch his games. His wins are more a result of the incompetence of his opponents than any true degree of "power." Every single person in the "Close, but no cigar..." section, except Reach, is playing better than him. His PvZ is weak, his PvT revolves around the Terran having bad push timing, and his PvP is nothing special.
Everyone gets too excited when a player wins a few games. You have to look past the fact that a player "won a series" and actually examine the play of everyone involved.

how can you not call someone who can do this hot?!
