So there will be four qualifers and the four winners will be flown out to New York. Once there the four players will play another qualifier to see who gets into the main event? Or are all four winners getting a seed into the main event? Thanks.

The winner of each NA Online Qualifier Bracket will be flown to Los Angeles to compete against the other bracket’s winners in a best-of-five semifinals, and best-of-seven finals live on November 3, 2013. Seeds for the NA Live Qualifier Finals will be randomized between the four Bracket winners.
The prize pool for the Red Bull Battle Grounds North America Live Qualifier Finals is as follows:
1st - $800, Entry into Red Bull Battle Grounds with all-expenses paid trip to New York City, NY.
2nd - $400
3rd/4th - $200

having said that... when do we find out the other participants?
I have beef with Red Bull. They have all this money yet they're still doing 8-man invitationals and looks at their premium pricing and yes I know the cost for such venues. The event could be much better and MLG pretty much gave them the space to orchestrate their event without overlap by not hosting another SC2 event at their major during the same time frame where they get more exposure. Go figure. Having a few qualifiers doesn't change the fact it's a shitty format for the players and they get limited exposure. Remember all those people complaining about building stars? This type of format is the opposite of that.
MLG Lan events are still above what Red Bull is doing. MLG are kind to not compete with Red Bull for SC2 viewers. I hope Red Bull hosts a legit event eventually.

I agree with you Starstruck, MLG events are better for exposure, and the event could be bigger. That being said they haven't been supporting the scene for too too long. Maybe they will change their events in the future, but we should be thankful for the awesome things they are doing now instead of questioning their commitment to the scene.
I think too that they are going for a more intimate type of setting, getting to know a few players really well as opposed to MLG's massive winners and loser's brackets where player's stories are unheard a good part of the time.

So there's going to be 16 people going to New York who will then fight for 4 spots in the tournament?

Seonghun Choi @CMStormPolt 6m I'm sorry for @redbullESPORTS and my fans to forfeit qualifier. I'm too exhausted and need to rest for s3 finals and blizzcon.

That's understandable for Polt. Season 3 finals are important. Hopefully this gives another player a chance to get a nice performance ^^

Ah, ok. So the "Qualifier 2" "Qualifier 3" and "Qualifier 4" tabs on Liquipedia are unnecessary.
